Decades after getting married,the aging Anthea is saying her final farewells. Turquoise, her husband, isn't coping well with it. But at the time of her death, her last request is for him to move on. Struck with grief, Turquoise sadly and slowly begin to keep their promise. And there is one mare that is willing to help him in this time of sorrow and grief......

Claire was always teased and left out because of the way she looked. But that would all change the day a strange colt walked up to her and said "hi".

Luna's daughter, Princess Nidra, was once rivals with the adopted daughter of Fluttershy, Anthea, for Turquoise the dragon-pony's heart. Since then, Anthea and Turquoise have married, Nidra has learned to accept her loss, and the two mares have become fast friends. However, when an aged and ailing Anthea calls her friend in for one final request, will Nidra, at long last, be able to honor it?

I have come a long way. Much of my life’s path has been very dark, with nary even a firefly to light my way. I’ve been beaten, bruised and battered. I’ve been made to feel worthless by many, told I would never be: Never a father, officer or upstanding citizen. I had become self-destructive, and turned my back on all that was good, becoming a reclusive hermit, shutting myself inside my own head.
I was pushed to a breaking point, and ultimately, through a power I now know as lucid dreaming, came to foresee an evil that threatened to consume me, unless I took action. I left an abusive stepfather in a single night, leaving nothing behind. He chased me to where I am now, along with the beast I had seen before.
However, there has been a light to help guide me: A certain group of people, many lost and broken like myself. We all found joy in a certain place where the power of bonds stronger than steel reign supreme.
These people not only lifted me up, but ultimately led me to a power to combat the aforementioned evil. I am here to tell of both sides, and how I believe this power has chosen me as its vessel.

NOTE: The events of this story are completely written from experiences I have had involving "lucid dreaming". They were hyper-realistic, with my senses amplified beyond a primal state.

One day when he tries to fly; his sister, Claire, sees him and decides to offer her help the only way she knows how to. Things only improve for the young kirin once his father decides to help him through his learning process.

Broken, that is the word that Amber used to describe herself when she discovered that she was unable to have her own child. It was a word that her best friend Annie wished she'd stop using, but Amber wouldn't budge. But Annie wasn't going to leave it alone, if Amber was going to accept that she was broken, then she'd have to accept that anything broken can also be fixed.

Claire and Illusion have a bond that cannot be shaken, they have shared in each others happiness and shouldered one another during times of great grief. They have encountered many challenges during their time together, and together they faced them head on. And now life has chosen to throw them their greatest challenge yet, but are they truly prepared for the trials they will face?

They don't know, but they will brave the challenge, together.
