After months of planning it out, Applejack finally has asked Rainbow Dash for her hoof in marriage.

Twilight, in an effort to help Applejack and Rainbow Dash achieve their dream of having a foal together, casts a spell that, unbeknownst to the princess, envelops all of Ponyville and plunges the little ponies (and one dragon) into a vortex of unknown genetic exchange and unplanned parenthood. What's more, the solution may come with severe complications of its own, and thus Twilight finds herself tasked with finding a resolution where there is likely none to be had.

After an incident between Applejack and Rainbow Dash, the two are finding it hard to communicate with each other. However, when a friend suggests a pilgrimage to help Applejack settle her feelings over memories of the past, Rainbow Dash and Applejack find that they may have to redefine their friendship.

Applejack can't hide her deep, romantic, pure, but also totally freaky-deaky love for Rainbow Dash one minute longer. But Rainbow Dash is training with the Wonderbolts—what is Applejack to do? The solution: Disguise herself as a pegasus, despite the fact that she can neither fly nor walk on clouds. What could possibly go wrong?

Applejack realizes one morning that Rainbow Dash has apparently moved in with her. This discovery surprises Dash more than a little, too, and sets off a chain of events neither could have imagined.

The original minific version of this story came in fifth in the Dec. 2015 Writeoff Association contest, "Things Left Unsaid." And the full, three-chapter-and-an-epilogue version won 3rd place in The Fourth AppleDash Contest: A Little Twist of Lemon using the categories "A Life-Changing Event" and "An Important or Memorable Date."
