The tiara upon Princess Cadence's head is heavier than it looks. Burdens and expectations rest inside each little gemstone, but she's carried them all her life with ease. Everypony agrees that she is the epitome of goodness: she's always helped those in need and never spoken ill of another pony. She's never even sworn.

So nopony would blame her for being a teensy bit naughty on her bachelorette party.

Now, the idea of seeing someone argue who was the "best Princess" in Equestria was hardly a new thing. In fact, such talks had appeared in articles across Equestria for some years now. And every Princess knew what it meant when another one turned up. They'd read it, they'd have a debate amongst themselves over what was said, they'd maybe argue, and then they'd laugh over it afterwards. But today, they come across one such article that causes no argument. In fact, it genuinely surprises them.

Rainbow Dash is fast in everything - including jumping to conclusions and gossiping. One day, she eavesdrops on a rather lewd conversation between Rarity and local human and it goes downhill from there. Then Celestia gets involved...

The Sirens were defeated at the Battle of the bands, something that seemed impossible to them.

So what did they do after running off?

This was written based on a prompt from Ebon Quill, who wanted to see inner monologues of the Sirens post Battle.

It is Celestia’s birthday, but instead of getting a whole cake like last year, Luna only brings her a single slice, saying that she won’t allow her anywhere near the rest.

What other course is there but to declare war?

As they sit down for tea and enjoy an afternoon in the castle gardens, Princess Celestia shares some of her old ambitions.

During a sleep over, a previously revealed factoid, that Pinkie has a varying level of attraction towards her friends, is brought up and mulled over. The girls decide to give Pinkie permission to express her affection for them whenever it strikes her.

She proceeds to do just that.

One of the positive things about being enlisted in the Solar Guard is all the mares Rainbow Dash could possibly chase after.

A negative? The one she's really after is in the Lunar Guard, and she's pretty… batty.
