Twilight Sparkle is scared to death of snakes. So much, in fact, that she is afraid to even go anywhere near the Everfree Forest by herself. Sometimes, she won't even leave the library, and makes up other excuses to stay at home. After a total disaster is caused by her ophidiophobia, Fluttershy, the animal expert, takes it upon herself to break Twilight of her irrational fear and teach her that snakes are nothing to be afraid of. Unfortunately, the yellow pegasus has no idea what she has gotten herself into...

Originally written in February of 2011 and posted first to /co/ then EqD, this was my first story and one of the original pieces of TwiDash. This has been edited for inclusion on FIMFiction, with thorough proofreading & editing by Double Dash. Do keep in mind this was written halfway through season 1 and without much of the information we've received in later seasons. Much love to all the fans who supported this on EqD and the people who suggested I start an account here.

Teen rating is due to some rude words, sexual themes, sexuality.

When I lost my sight, I became a recluse. I hid away, staying in my own world instead of out in the one meant for those with sight. But when Princess Celestia had me move to Ponyville, I had to adjust to a new walk of life, again intended for those with sight. I guess I'm doing okay, thanks to a certain pegasus mare whose kindness and gentle voice got through to me where everyone else has failed.
