Two years after Nyx was stripped of the Nightmare's power, Twilight Sparkle is attempting to raise Nyx as a normal filly. But as Nyx's magical abilities begin to grow out of her control, the pair quickly earn the attention and ire of some powerful ponies who do not have Nyx's best interests in-mind.

During the night, the Elements of Harmony mysteriously vanish, and Princess Celestia enlists the aid of their bearers to find them. Twilight is forced to choose between her duties to her princess and her duties to her daughter. In the process, she discovers a web of conspiracy surrounding her daughter that reaches back a thousand years into Equestrian history. Will Twilight be prepared to face the things she learns along her journey's path: about Nyx, about Celestia, about Equestria, about the Elements...

The Doctor goes beyond Equestria in this third installment of the Doctor Whooves Series.

When a chance encounter with the Doctor in the middle of Ponyville causes Zecora to run away in blind terror, he is understandably perplexed, as the two had never met before. Shortly after, the cryptic zebra turns up suffering from a mysterious ailment that is somehow related to her homeland of Zebrica, and the Doctor, Twilight, and (much to their surprise) Fluttershy must travel to the distant savannah in the TARDIS to discover the cause of her distress. But what begins as a search for a cure will lead to a darker place than one might believe possible, as a mystery spanning the whole of time and space deepens and hungry gods from far-off memories demand the Time Lord’s blood.

"Along Came a Spider" is the third Doctor Whooves Episode and the fourth of the expanded "Number 12" continuity begun by the inspirational Squeak-anon.

It is strongly recommended to read the following fics here on FIMFiction before proceeding with "Along Came a Spider."

A grave overlooking, a lack of organization coming from Twilight, could be the end of more than just her little library. She must undo her mistake before things get out of hoof.

Twilight Sparkle loves to read, and when she picks up a strange little book that she has no idea from where it came. She finds that she has trouble putting it down. Her friends become concerned when she isn't able to leave her home without it.

"Dear Celestia, what have i got myself into?" Twilight and Rainbow Dash have always had each others back, but now Dash has no choice but to put her life in Twilight's hooves. Due to one of Twilight's magical experiments gone wrong, Rainbow Dash has been changed back into a 3 year-old filly. Now Twilight has to find a way to to change her friend back before the effects become irreversible. But will Twilight's attitude go from 'mother' to 'lover'?

Edward can't make up his mind on what he wants to do. Become a pony? Or remain human?

Worried about a past he can't forget, he finds himself standing outside the Bureau looking in on many a days. Hoping to find the answer he's seeking.

When a pony with a mission suddenly pops into his life. He's forced to confront buried pains, and an uncertain future.

As well as discover just how he ties into all of this...

Most ponies, when they see a pony with an hourglass cutie mark, would figure that it would mean their talent has something to do with time, or clocks, or another harmless meaning. Technically, the first is true, but there is a hidden meaning beneath it. To those that carry it, they know that the hourglass marks them as refugees, survivors from a war that would make any normal pony go mad from glimpsing just a fraction of the sheer scope of it. These unusual ponies have all found asylum in Equestria, but now, one last escapee will be followed by an evil that will threaten to ignite the conflict anew and bring down their last refuge with it.

But this newcomer not only brings the remains of the conflict with him, but is their best and only hope of ending it once and for all.

The last gasp of the Time War has come to Equestria. The Doctor will find old friends, make new ones...and face off with one of his greatest foes, one last time.

Six months on from its rude awakening, Equestria is still dealing with the fallout. Twilight Sparkle and her friends are taking the lead in preparing ponykind for its trials, but some unusual reports from the outskirts of Trottingham lead them to believe that the world might be a lot wilder than they had anticipated.
