After getting accepted into the same college, Spike and Sweetie Belle decide to become roommates. They have known each other for most of their lives and have since become good friends, so it only makes sense, right? However, the day they move in together, Spike and Sweetie slowly begin to realize that some things they've known all their lives might not be the same as they were before. With all these changes happening around them, what will come of Spike's and Sweetie's friendship?

After getting rejected from Rarity one last time, Spike gives up and decides to go home, but what he didn't know was that his friend Sweetie Belle had feelings for him and decides to confess, leaving them with a big responsibility.

Spike's was walking to Rarity's to help her out, when he see's Sweetie Belle running home crying, Spike checks on her like a good friend, Spike takes her on a picnic, but it turns into something more.

(Part of the same setting/future/universe as the Guard Tiara stories, but they do not need to be read for this story.)

Spike and Sweetie Belle are getting married. It is a momentous occasion for the two, and quite an exciting day for them as well as their friends and family.

After finally working up the courage to ask the mare of his dreams out on a date, Spike arrives only to find her preparing for a date with somepony else. Heartbroken, the dragon is left to wonder where he really fits in the world, and consider the fact that he may never win Rarity's heart. Little does he know that life has a surprise for him, in the form of Rarity's younger sister Sweetie Belle.

This year, the ponies decide to play Secret Hearth's Warming. Everything is all fine and dandy, but when Sweetie Belle draws Spike's name, her friends keep bothering to finally tell him how she feels.
