But it doesn't take long for Spike to encounter somepony new, a unicorn pony on the run from the law who seems to have a few screws loose...

Trixie appears once more in Ponyville, but something is...off...about her. She isn't speaking in third person. She is convinced that she is supposed to be the Element of Magic, that Celestia is supposed to be the Tyrant Sun, that Luna is supposed to rule as Equestria's monarch - and that Twilight is supposed to be a wanted criminal. Has she gone insane? Or is something bigger beginning - with consequences that Trixie, Twilight, and two entire worlds, can only guess at?

Alone except for his thoughts, he wonders who he had miscalculated and where the game went wrong. More importantly though, he wonders how he had ended up saying four words that he'd thought he'd never say about The Game and all it's glory.

While at a conference Trixie's assistant Pokey Pierce and Duke Greengrass's assistant Notary meet up and go drinking. One things leads to another and they spend the night telling tails about the trials and tribulations of working with their respective bosses.

My seconds entry to this months Lunaverse challenge on the topic of first meetings.

Trixie has successfully accomplished her mission, and the crimes of the corrupt nobles in Equestrian's government have been laid bare for all to see. Princess Luna has castigated the nobles and put an end to their depravities, and Trixie wants nothing more than to return home and begin the victory celebrations. No sooner has she returned, though, than one of her friends reminds her that one of Luna's ponies has broken her rules and gotten away with it -- Trixie herself. Forced to confront her actions, Trixie realizes that she has little choice but to confess to her teacher, mentor, and friend. Can Trixie go through with it? And, if so, will this revelation destroy their relationship... or will the magic of friendship allow for them to bond even more strongly than before? Lunaverse story, taking place immediately after RainbowDoubleDash's At the Grand Galloping Gala.

Octavia's birthday is coming up, and Luna wants to make sure that she appropriately honors her favorite musician and close friend. In disguise as the page Night Vision, she works with another page named Paperweight to scour the city of Canterlot and find the perfect gift! Hats will be purchased, gelato will be consumed, and even powerful ponies like Prince Blueblood may find themselves roped into the shenanigans. But at the end of the day, Luna is confident that she and Paperweight can find a perfect present for a wonderful musician.

A long, long time ago, the necromancer Grogar conquered the city of Tambelon for his own nefarious purposes. Working together, the princesses Celestia and Luna were able to banish Grogar and the fallen city into the realm of Shadow, never to be seen again...or so they thought.

Two thousand years later, Tambelon and Grogar return - and the world may never be the same...
