Its winter in Ponyville and for the most part everything seems to be going well. That changes when Grinding Gears, a friend of Cheerilee's from Detrot with more engineering skill than common sense, comes to town hoping to get endorsement for his latest invention.

This story is a sequel to Crisis on Two Equestrias

Twilight Sparkle has been many things. The most promising magical student of her generation, a fugitive from the law, a lost stranger in a world not her own, and briefly – master of her own destiny. When presented with an opportunity to claim everything she had always wanted though, she chose instead to give it all back to the pony that had rightly earned it in the first place, and in so doing forever resigning herself to the consequences of her own crimes.

They say the journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step, and that it is always the first one that is hardest. Sometimes though, the last step can be just as hard, and now Twilight must find within herself the strength to take it.

Ditzy Doo has many responsibilities -- delivering mail, supporting her community, and even fighting evil as the Bearer of the Element of Kindness and a Knight of the Realm to boot. None of these, however, are as important to her as her primary job of raising her daughter Dinky. Through good times and bad, Ditzy has always been there for her daughter, and she works tirelessly to make sure that Dinky grows up in a happy, healthy, and loving environment. Unfortunately, nopony is perfect, and after a freak accident almost results in disaster, Ditzy becomes even more protective of her daughter. When Dinky subsequently becomes eligible for a fantastic opportunity, the foal is excited, but Ditzy is so worried that her daughter will get hurt that she finds herself wishing Dinky would pass it up. Ditzy must choose, then, between keeping her daughter as safe as possible... and allowing her to grow. Lunaverse story.

What started as a pleasant day out at sea to collect an ancient treasure from their Seapony friends, ends in a fierce battle on the high seas for Trixie and co when a band of vicious pirates attack.

When Raindrops, Dinky and Pip are taken captive, and the treasure is stolen, Trixie, Lyra and Cheerilee will stop at nothing to track down the ruthless thieves and get their friends back

Trixie is very bored. In an effort to relieve said boredom, she is reading her textbooks on magic.

This is a very bad idea.

The result? A spell goes wrong and Ponyville ends up with two Trixies, or at least two pieces of Trixie.

One is carefree, pompous, and just a wee bit more arrogant than usual about her powers.
The other is a nervous wreck that can't work up the courage to do anything based on the thought that it'll lead to a personal failure in her responsibilities.

They are two incomplete halves of a whole that have a spell to fix.

The problem with fixing it?

One of them decided to run off to Neigh Orleans during a night of endless partying.

Snails has a problem - he's been getting headaches, a lot of them, that keep him from sleeping. Trixie is quickly able to identify the problem: He isn't using enough magic, and it's building up. All Snails has to do is use more magic, and the headaches will go away. Of course, the Great and Powerful Trixie is more than willing to train a foal in the use of magic - after all, she's already training Dinky. What's one more?

...wait, why are there seven foals? Help!

What do you do when you've created an army of abominations that are attacking the town? Trixie and Dinky are about to find out.

A Non-cannon Lunaverse Story for the June Write Up Event.
Takes place several years after the current time (End of Season 1, Beginning of Season 2).

While trapped in another world waiting for Trixie to recover Ditzy gets to know the version of herself and her daughter that lives there. Are they better or worse off than she is? Can she learn anything from the path their lives have taken?

Takes place during Crisis on Two Equestrias while Trixie is unconscious.

Last year, Lute, a pegasus foal living in Canterlot, spent too much time lollygagging around, and got almost no candy on Nightmare Night as a result. He learned a valuable lesson then: time is candy. This year, he doesn't care about costumes, parties, the spirit of the season. He simply wants to get as much candy as possible, as quickly as possible.

But that is not in the true spirit of Nightmare Night...and the Nightmare does not approve...
