A young changeling named Hornet is sent to ponyville to gather information and investigate the ponies that inhabit the village.
His main targets are Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle.
Unlike most changelings, he is no soldier or worker.
He is to disguise himself as a pony and befriend them.
They must not know that he is a changeling, or the entire plan will be ruined.
This is the mission that Queen Chrysalis herself gave him.
Why she had picked him however, he did not know.
Follow Hornet as he desperately tries to befriend the main six, while still maintaining a low profile.
As the story progresses, Hornet finds that friendship is not as bad as he thought at first. As he gets to know the ponies, he starts liking them more than he should.
And even though he knows that they can never be his real friends, he wants to keep them as long as he can.
This is a story about the many dilemmas one has to face in life, and dealing with personal problems.

Needle Wings and Cherish have been married for a decade now, and the urges of life took hold of them. About 7 years ago Cherish achieved the greatest feat of life: childbirth. What awaits this pony-changeling hybrid in his life?

WARNING: This story is a sequel to "A Change of Heart". If you haven't read A Change of Heart yet, you will not understand this story fully, but I will try to make things clear.

A changeling who has lived at the side of an Equestrian mare for most of his life finds himself in the middle of the changeling invasion of Canterlot. He has no idea who the invading queen or hive are, and just wants to stay where he is, and more importantly, who he is.

Nursing a changeling is like nursing an animal: give it bandages, feed it, take care of it, and when it's better, let it go. Fluttershy knew that it was dangerous, knew that if she got caught, then her life was over. Off to the dungeons she would go. Yet, she couldn't help it, seeing the poor, mangled creature at her own front door. So she took him in, hid him from the watchful eyes of the other ponies.
