Just a short, heavily metaphorical, story about introversion and depression.

Lightning Dust snorts a rail of lightning dust, kicks Thunderlane's flank, and shows everypony that she's a force to be reckoned with and is bucking awesome.

I somehow managed to post the words to this story on Fimfiction without the site overdosing and 502ing from Lightning Dust's sheer awesomeness. But even these words could never do justice to the legend that is Princess Archduchess Lightning M.F.W. Dust, Ph.D. You just had to be there.

Caramel works at a Hospice, taking care of dying patients, making sure that their last days are as comfortable as possible. He can't ever let himself grow attached to his patients, though, that would cause far too many complications.

My unicorn parents called me a worthless mud pony. They pushed me every day to overcome my lowly status. When I woke up one morning with my cutie mark, I thought they would love me. I couldn’t have been farther from the truth.

It was not destiny or enjoyment that led me to discover the cello and composing. My parents made that decision, deciding before I was born I would continue their family legacy of famous musicians.

They did not realize what that decision would cost them.

Soarin has never been a lucky stallion. So when the mare of his dreams seems unreachable, he has to compromise a bit. Not that he minds his compromise. But who's to say it has to stay that way? Who's to say Soarin can't get lucky once in a while.
