Sweetie Belle is staying with Rarity but has picked up the disgusting habit of biting her hooves. This annoying habit is driving Rarity insane and she resorts to recanting the legend of ShanderShears the tailor to ameliorate the situation. But is it really only a story?

Inspired by her sister's collection of letters on friendship, Princess Luna decides to start a collection of her own. She puts the call out through all of Equestria, asking for her subjects' help in collecting the lore of the land. Myths, legends, history, everything dreams are made of, all of it is welcome in her new library.

Princess Celestia cleans out her safe of scrolls to make room for more of Twilight's and her friend's observations. During the clean-up, her spell goes awry and accidentally sends them all back to the original sender.

He came from another world. He claims to be the Alicorn of Fate. Events inexplicably turn out in his favor. Ponies adore him for reasons they can't express. He counts bearers of the Elements among his friends, and one of them his lover. It seems he can do no wrong, and no evil befalls him.

Luna knows a threat when she sees one—and it has been allowed to go on long enough already.

(One of the three stories I was choosing between for Obselescence's Most Dangerous Game contest. I was trying to include as many of his prompts as possible in a single story with this one, but eventually decided to submit "Fading" instead.)

Rainbow Dash wakes up strapped to a rack. It is the fourth time this week, and it is starting to get on her nerves ...

What if Cupcakes and all its various parodies and imitations were actually Rainbow Dash's nightmares? That's gotta take its toll on a mare.

Fluttershy is wondering why her friends have been acting oddly around her. Meanwhile, the rest of the Mane six are at a loss as to how to deal with her.

It's over. She's been with Celestia for years. She's absolved Luna of her crimes. She's been instrumental in defeating Sombra, and has revealed a Changeling invasion. She's even helped in reforming Discord. And now, her time is over. In the time that she's had, she's tried to do her best. She's tried so hard to live up to what other ponies expect of her.

And they were happy with how she was shaping up.

They wanted her to succeed.

Now all they want is to see her dead.
