It is the thousandth year since Nightmare Moon's banishment and she has returned. When the battle with Nightmare Moon goes awry, Twilight's friends and family must cope with the destruction left in Nightmare's wake.

Having been many months since the last one, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo decide it would be a fun idea to take another weekend camping trip up to Winsome Falls in the spring. But on their first night in the tent, Scootaloo accidentally wakes up Rainbow Dash in the middle of the night... and ends up revealing an embarrassing secret.

She's wet the bed.

Memories hurt; she knows this. A thousand years on the moon with nothing but your own thoughts is torture upon a level no pony could ever achieve. Sometimes, the easiest thing to do is hope, and pretend they never existed. But nothing can change the past.

And sometimes, those memories don't want to be forgotten.

This story is a sequel to First

Three years.

It's been a long three years, up there in the north, fighting for Equestria.

At last, though, those three years are over, and Rainbow Dash is finally home again in Ponyville. The war is won and she's returned triumphant, having done her part and served with honor. But after what it's taken out of her - and left lingering inside of her - can Rainbow Dash really come home again so easily? Does the Ponyville she once knew still exist for her? And are the ponies she's coming home to getting back the same Rainbow Dash that went out there to fight for them, those three years ago?

Only marked for gore because of a moderate amount incidentally present by necessity in the first part, and it's not particularly bad, so don't let that turn you off if it's not your thing. Most of the story doesn't have any blood or violence at all.

Luna spends her nights in painful torment, unable to escape the memories of her past sins.
Until one night, she is reminded that she is not as alone as she thinks.
And that someone out there still loves her...

Luna and Celestia always knew they were different from the other ponies. They both had a unicorn's horn and pegasus's wings. It was odd that they had both as their parents are both earth ponies that work at a local lumber mill.

Luna, wanting to grow up to help her father at the mill, secretly goes out to train at nights hoping that she could at least learn how to use her wings and horns enough to be helpful. However one night while trying to learn how to use her wings and horn she learns she can do something amazing with the night sky.
