A normal day was all it took.
A simple failed prototype, a missed experiment.
There was an explosion, and I woke up. I don't really know what happened between those two events, but I'm fairly certain I shouldn't have awoken in a small, dark box.
I'm scared.

An English knight married a kindly woman, touched in the head, who thought she was an alicorn. She was right.
Then one day Cecilia disappeared.
He knew that Cecilia vanished into the side of the statue, the same place she lamented the 'mirror closing' two and a half years ago. He threw a rock at it... and it vanished. It was true. He had to find her.
He didn't care about Cecilia's madness, about this 'Equestria' or her obsession with ponies. He loved her. He loved her enough to walk into Hell itself. He would bring her back, no matter what.

The first thing Time could remember was his brother, Disregard. Because Disregard couldn't remember anything before Time and Time had no recollection of what things were like before then, they came to the conclusion that Disregard must have been the oldest. They were both satisfied with this, and then they left to go and watch the world grow.
As things progressed, they became distanced, but they still try to keep in touch. Sometimes, they wonder what it'd be like if they weren't themselves.

What a foolish man to come here and reach so high.
You thought to love even the sun and that she might, somehow, come to love you. As if she could ever love some sad, misshapen thing.
And you changed yourself, so utterly, so horribly. A useless, broken mockery of what she was.
And now? Now all you have are your memories.
