My name is Diamond Tiara. I am the most popular filly in school, and with good reason. I'm smart, I'm funny, I'm cool, I'm rich, and I'm resourceful. Everypony wants to be me... which can be kind of a burden at times. Alula, get off of me already!

I'm Alula! I'm not quite as smart as DT here, but I'm a really good athlete, and I'm full of energy every day! After all, I get to see Diamond Tiara every day, so how can I not be?

It was just a normal day for Twilight, sitting around in the library, reading books, until Trixie comes knocking at her door.

And suddenly she was falling. Her mind was blank with shock, and she watched as the thick clouds of fog succumb her. Her pale blue wings hit against the nearly solid fog clouds. She saw a lightning streak head for the finish line and she knew that she had lost. An image of the turquoise mare in a bright Wonderbolts outfit drained into her mind, another with her in the back, a look of defeat etched on her tired face. Yellow eyes met magenta ones. "You will never be a Wonderbolt." it snapped.

No. Her wings unfurled and beat quickly through the thick air. I will be a Wonderbolt.

Who would have thought a pony and a changeling could have children together. I certainly wouldn't have. This is Shining Armor, and I'm in a weird situation. Chrysalis has shown up to my home and dropped a kid off stating that it was our son.

What will Cadance think? How am I going to raise a changeling child? Why does Chrysalis keep coming into my life, and why am I finding it harder to keep her away? Hopefully answers can be found with as little problems as possible. Oh who the Tartarus am I kidding, my seed is a changeling! There's bound to be a problem along the way.

Twilight has learned a lot of things over the course of her life. From her books, her mentor, her friends and even from ponies she'd rather not spend a great deal of time around. One of those things she learned was that friendship isn't something that's as readily defined as other things in the world. After solving the crisis of Trixie being possessed by the Alicorn Amulet she sets out to meet with the fellow unicorn once again.

However she has no intention of engaging her in another duel. She's going after her to help.

Since being exiled from Ponyville and shunned by all the other ponies, Trixie had been forced into getting by as a nomad. That was until a tender hearted pony lent her a hoof and a shoulder, unable to see anyone suffer.

She had been a star student of some of the best flight teachers in Equestria. She claimed victory in so many schoolyard races. Her name spoke of speed unmatched.

For the first time in her life, she had lost.

She found herself weeded out of the crop of new rookies accepted for the second stage of training. She couldn't understand, she was the best at everything a Pegasus was known for since she was a child.

But now, she's in it for more than first place.

Her home destroyed and her life in ruin by the hooves of Twilight, Trixie is left with next to nothing. When a chance to turn her life around is presented by an unexpected source, she jumps at the opportunity. With the aid of her new mentor, Trixie might just be able to fulfill her thirst for revenge, and rebuild her life in the process.

A/N: This story takes place between Boast Busters and Magic Duel. However, it also takes place after Luna Eclipsed. Essentially, Boast Busters takes place somewhere in Season 2 for the purposes of this story. Find the reason why here.

Trixie has not had it easy since the alicorn amulet had corrupted her.
Her hopes for the future dashed, she has moved to the Everfree Forest with only a hallucination to comfort her.
When even the forest chases her away she will need to depend upon the goodness and generosity of another for the first time in a long while.

A few years before Twilight Sparkle and her fantastic friends were born, a dimensional rift was known to have opened up very near Ponyville. A number of ponies were lost into the void, and Celestia kept the rift a secret, hidden from sight until Twilight became an alicorn and a princess; now the Six Mane Ponies are tasked with entering the "Human World" on the other end, becoming humanoid themselves and attending high school as a cover. Before they leave, Trixie finds out and is determined to follow, though she quickly finds herself lost. Story follows Trixie's party leading to the Human World and Twilight's party who have already made it there.
Crossover elements dominate on Trixie's end, whereas "OC" involvement dominates on Twilight's end.
