In a letter to her friend Beauty Brass, Octavia asks for a favour. Their friend Vinyl Scratch has sent a postcard from the tiny village of Windy Valley, explaining that she's staying.

This is patently insane. Octavia is worried something is wrong, so she intends to travel there, to find Vinyl.

Meanwhile, after noticing Diamond Tiara's disappearance, the Cutie Mark Crusaders do some investigating, learn what happened, and go on a mission to rescue their friend.

A mysterious magic surge has been discovered just off the coast of Creui. Praetor Rainbow Dash is apart of the contingent sent to investigate, only to be caught in it.

At the same time, Luster Dawn has returned to Canterlot for her first Grand Galloping Gala since heading to Ponyville. While there, she demonstrates a spell that she found in the archive of the Princesses old castle.

Said spell may create a situation that neither is properly prepared for, nor even want. However, it may just be what they need...

This story is a sequel to The Broken and the Damned

10 years have passed since the defeat of Queen Chrysalis and the official end of Rainbow Dashs' exile. Since that day, with the exception of her sister's wedding, she hasn't set a hoof in Equestria. Finally, after much convincing, Rainbow allows her sons to sign on an exchange student-like program, where they will spend a school year in Ponyville.

How will her sons, raised in the Empire and can't even speak equish that well, react to the culture and way of life of the small Equestrian town? Better yet, how will her former friends and their families react to them?

Scootaloo is sad because of an abusive relationship, so as you could imagine that type of thing happening on the day of her 21st birthday is not that great. so when Rainbow Dash finds Scoots alone crying in an alleyway behind Sugercube Corner, where the party was supposed to happen, she puts cheering up her sister at top priority.

Warning: Story contains topics such as abusive relation ships and the story also implies sexual abuse and narcotics use, but everything is mostly implied and not happening much in the story.

Also consider this an early version of this story, as it will be updated with maby more text and polished diologue and all that good stuff.
