Applejack realizes she hasn't seen her friend Rainbow Dash in a while. Actually, quite a while. A couple of weeks to be honest. Yeah, actually a month. So, she decides to go and have a little chat with her, as a good friend would. Just to check, nothing more. She did look a little sad last time she saw her and ... actually, she looked like a trainwreck.

However, Rainbow claims there is nothing wrong with her.

Nothing at all.

Really, it's nothing.

Flim and Flam have done it again. They've opposed Applejack. This time, they've built themselves a bed and breakfast smack bang in the middle of her farm. Applejack doesn't approve of this and goes to see them... only to discover that they are hiding a dark secret involving a pony she's seen before.

What should have been a successful, run of the mill, let's go save Equestria, mission turns out to be...well...not that at all.

The CMC were expecting Equestria's six heros to return from thier latest excursion unscathed and with lots of exciting tales.

What they got was news they never in thier wildest dreams would have wanted or expected to hear.
