There are some things in this world that absolutely no one can walk away from unchanged. Here we have Celestia on an investigative trip to the Badlands south of Equestria. Twilight's research told of a hidden city built by wonderful and terrible beings who "came before". Celestia needs to see it for herself. It is in a barren desert tainted by an unknown energy that destroys all who live...but perhaps not all who have lived. In one burnt out ruin hidden below the depths of that lonely place is a mausoleum haunted by its mistakes. Not even the ruler of the sun is all knowing and there are some secrets that will always hurt more than they help. This is a story about desperate minds searching for a solution in desperate times, what can happen when we let fear fuel the day, and good intentions gone wrong.

This is a sequel to my other story To Be Remembered. It takes place in the same "City of Dust" as that story, but I don't think you need to read that in order to enjoy this one. It's up to you. Contains some blood and takes place in a post-apocalyptic city outside normal, happy Equestria.

This is a collection of meetings and letters between Princess Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and other notable characters regarding Robert Wolfe, a human who has mysteriously appeared in Equestria. They will try to understand this being and find him a way home.

This story is a response for a blog post you can find here. This is pretty rushed so don't expect too much.

The pony that came back after 1000 years of exile to the moon was not the pony that Celestia expected. Instead of the menacing figure of Nightmare Moon what she instead got was a madly cackling alicorn rolling in a grassy field occasionally taking a break to stroke the lush green plants as if they were the most fascinating thing in the world.

While this was certainly better than the alternative Celestia was a bit miffed that her sister had not even acknowledged her presence before going to play in the grass. How could grass be more interesting than her?

The humans have travelled to Equestria to share their knowledge with the ponies. However, what the human scholars bring with them quickly turns out to be a bit much for the simple-minded locals.

First contact. Not just with a new world, but with a world in a whole new universe. Initial negotiations go well, so Princess Celestia makes a visit to this 'Earth' to cement peaceful relations. Unfortunately, even when you are as experienced as the goddess of the sun, it's the little things that can trip you up.

Sunset was happy. She had friends, happiness and a tomorrow to look forwards too.

That was then.

Out of nowhere a user on MyStable, who went by the name Anon-A-Miss, began exposing everybody's secrets and dumped the blame on Sunset. Her life went to rock bottom in less than a week as everyone turned on her, even her friends harshly disowned her. She eventually decides to move to Crystal Prep in an attempt to get away from her troubles and start again, but some things doesn't stay in the past for long.

When the true identity of Anon-a-Miss is finally revealed, it is too late. The guilty and remorseful students of Canterlot High set out to find Sunset. Little do they know that their holiday season is about to get even worse. Their mistreatment of Sunset has attracted the legendary punisher of the naughty, the Krampus. Krampus and his helpers begin hunting the students one by one with the intent of giving them a Christmas in Hell.
