Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash got to go to the Griffin Kingdom.

Rarity and Applejack got to go to Manehattan.

Stuck in Ponyville without any magical Friendship Quests to go on, Twilight can do little but try to unlock the secrets of the Cutie Map herself. Fluttershy tries to help.

It doesn't go well.

(Set in the same vague continuity as the rest of my fanfics- in particular, this takes place some time after I Am Trying to Break Your Heart)

This story is a sequel to The Legend of Sunset Shimmer: Majora's Mask

It has been some time since Sunset Shimmer went on a journey to the world of 'The Legend of Zelda' but now she has been sent to the mysterious Koholint Island. It is an island in the middle of nowhere that houses a dark secret. Sunset cannot leave until she awakens the Wind Fish, but can she awaken the dreamer and if so, will she want to once she learns the truth of what the island really is?

Even with Princess Twilight Sparkle to guide her along, Koholint Island may seem unusual, but what lurks below the surface is the stuff of nightmares.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been some time since my last fanfiction around here. I hope that I've still got it. Anyway, this is the next entry in this series of mine if it should be called that. Many were expecting Twilight Princess, but that is a huge undertaking in and of itself, and since it's been so long since my last story, I wanted to go with something shorter. Don't expect this story to be an epic readthrough in terms of word count as I'm not trying to set a record here.

As always, each chapter will let you know which MLP/EQG character is portraying which Link's Awakening character.

This story is a sequel to The Legend of Sunset Shimmer: Ocarina of Time

September 20, 2017: This story got past 1,000,000 words. Never have I written anything this long before but I wanted to acknowledge such a thing given that it doesn't happen very often around here.

This story has been given a new description as of October 3, 2016. Also, please check the numerical notations afterwards to understand some concerns.

Sunset Shimmer believed that it was all over. Her ordeal in the land of Hyrule was still fresh on her mind, and the Mark of the Triforce reminded her that everything was real. No one else recalled what happened and think she has lost her mind, yet she knew better. A nightmare had been plaguing her since then, one that her friends couldn't help her overcome. How could they when they didn't believe her?

In her nightmare... a world is on the verge of ruin. What is the meaning behind this nightmare? Sunset isn't sure but feels that her ordeal wasn't over yet. Two weeks after Her Highness came through the portal, Canterlot High and Crystal Prep celebrate after what happened during the Friendship Games. Despite the latter not in the best of spirits, things were going fine until an old enemy emerges, an enemy whom Sunset wished she could forget.

Ganondorf, the Demon King transforms the world that Sunset calls home and everyone in it into the world of Termina, the very land from her nightmare, a parallel world to Hyrule. Once again, Sunset must endure personal torment as she struggles against something she knew would happen. She has only three days to prevent this new world from being destroyed, yet she doesn't have to go through the experience alone. Her friend and mentor, Princess Twilight Sparkle, is by her side, trapped in the same nightmare as her student. Many friends from their worlds are in Termina under new identities, and the Demon King lurks in the shadows, waiting for the time to test Sunset once again.

1. Due to the release of Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree, I might as well mention this. Characters, events, magic, and so on will not be present in this story. This was started long before the movie was first announced, and will remain that way. However, bonus chapters are exempt from this.

2. The Prologue through to Chapter 13 are in my old writing style and won't be changed. From Chapter 14 and onwards, my new style will be featured.

3. The Prologue has been retconned slightly. I now have taken the events of Friendship Games and implemented them into the story. As such, this story takes places two weeks after Princess Twilight came through the mirror, but before Sci-Twi's slumber party and Camp Everfree.

With the events of Rainbow Rocks behind her, Sunset Shimmer was simply enjoying a night indoors with her friends, but the magical energies of the human world which clashed in the movie has caused something unexpected to happen. Now Sunset has found herself in a world much different than her own, and the people of this world look like her human world friends and foes, yet this is the land of Hyrule.

It's been a long four years of High School, but Sunset Shimmer and her friends are finally graduating. But Sunset Shimmer isn't sure what to do with herself now. And thoughts of her old home are creeping back into her mind after two visits from Twilight Sparkle through the mirror.

Now Sunset has to make a choice. To return to Equestria, or stay in the Human World. What is worse, facing the mare you shunned as a foal, or college?

Something I've worked on for quite a while, I've decided to publish the first chapter, and will update as I work on more.

This story is a sequel to At the End of a Tough Day

Yesterday was tough on Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle. Sunset attended a funeral to say goodbye to her uncle Silver Shine, while Twilight gave a very important presentation at a scientific conference; one that might just make her career. It was a trying day for them both, but their mutual love and support got them through, as it always does.

Today is different. Today the loving couple enjoy a nice breakfast, celebrate the things that got them this far, and look forward to the future. Twilight also has something she's been hiding from Sunset, a surprise something that will change everything. For better or for worse.

Today is a good day.
