After losing her only friend Diamond Tiara finds herself being comforted by the last person she expected. Could this small act of kindness lead to something more... You read the tags already, you know it does. Currently plan on this story being sfw, but will see how long that lasts. Aged them up just in case.

Rarity takes her friends to a Prench restaurant in Canterlot for breakfast and orders one of her favorite dishes, crêpes sucrées. Applejack is skeptical of the food - crêpes are just a thin layer of cooked sweet dough, nothing more than an excuse to eat whipped cream and sugar without consuming anything of substance. The debate over the nature of crêpes as food leads the pair to a bet, Applejack allowing the unicorn to give her a makeover and show her off, the unicorn going a day without her precious makeup and fake eyelashes.

But do the pair have ulterior motives for wanting to see each other in a new way?

A day of applebucking has Rarity fed up with Applejack. When the unicorn expresses her frustration in the oddest of ways, Applejack is left befuddled and confused. After some thought, the country mare goes to confront her friend. The discussion they have about it is nothing if not vague. Will this incident cause a rift in their friendship? Or, will it become stronger?

She knew what Applejack wanted. She'd known since she saw the look on the earth mare's face when she stared into the unicorn's eyes, weeks ago. Now she just had to make her admit it.
