After the 'Canterlot Wedding' incident the Changeling swarm was scattered across the land, enslaved by pony warlords and slavers beyond the borders of Equestria. Weak, desperate and with only a dozen changelings to her name, Queen Chrysalis resorts to summoning one of the most obscure creatures in mythology; a human.

The Second Age of Sail, I often hear this era called. Personally, I think the very definition of irony should be that we would have to develop spaceflight, nuclear fusion and ways to reach worlds beyond our own just to circle back to using wind-powered vessels. Not that I really care how this old bird gets from port to port, the important thing is that the drinks are cheap and the work is good—in that specific order.

Kevin Wright, a 21 year old human male and a huge fan of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, is teleported to Equestria during a horrible lightning storm in both worlds. Unfortunately for Kevin, he was in the middle of driving, and the first place he appears in Equestria, is in the air a few feet above and to the left of Twilight Sparkle's house. this is Kevin's mental narration during this event, and the random shenanigans that follow.

My first fanfic, which is a HiE self insert story. The whole thing began due to me staying up way to late, eating too much sugar, and generally being insane. I've then decided to keep it up after the polite and positive reaction it seems to have received from people. Due to me still struggling with trying to write on a regular basis, and also because I'm going to try to write more than just this story at the same time, I can't really promise when this will update. Like everyone else, my biggest wish is to be in Equestria, and due to a magical Genie lamp, I'm finally there!

However, it turns out the Genie is the master of trolls as he says I never wished for how I wanted to look like when I arrive there and now I'm a one month old unicorn foal with brown coat, light brown mane and tail, blood red eyes and unable to talk!

My life is over.

Magical mishaps, moral dilemmas, and multiple contusions -- normal ponies don't have to deal with these things. Too bad Lyle Hartston isn't a "normal" pony. From the normal life of a human to an exciting and hectic life of a pony, Lyle's life is flipped upside down. Things can only get stranger for this brony when he wakes up in Equestria. More surprises await for him as he comes to meet a certain pony by the name of Lyra Heartstrings.

The dimensions that Earth and Equestria reside in collide, resulting in the biggest event of all time for both worlds. Every being across both worlds is swept up into a deep, dreamless sleep and when they wake...
