Moon Dancer finds herself in the very same library where a speed-dating event is being held. No, she’s not participating because libraries weren’t made for this. Much to her surprise, she meets another pony who also finds herself at the library, just not for the dating part. And even more surprising, Moon Dancer finds herself talking to this new pony.

Sunset adores her marefriend Twilight. Though it's been only one year since they began their relationship, it's felt like a lifetime.

With Hearts and Hooves Day fast approaching, she wants to do something special for her beloved. Twilight has done so much for her after all. The least she can do is repay some of that kindness, and show her how much she loves her in the process.

Starlight picked a really bad time to take up astronomy. She made a very interesting discovery! The problem is that this discovery, near as anybody can tell, is an asteroid on a collision-course with Equestria.

Obviously this bodes ill for almost everyone on the planet. (Except Trixie. She's been to the afterlife before, so she's not particularly concerned.)

The thing is, there's one detail of Glimmer's discovery that she's still hoping and praying isn't true.

Through the telescope, she was able to get a very close look at the asteroid.

It has her face on it.

A horrible crack-adjacent fic inspired heavily by YIIK. If you know, you know. If you don't...spoilers, I guess? Does anybody care?

Starlight Glimmer is many things. Master of the arcane arts, Headmare of the School of Friendship, Savior of Equestria, and a truly fantastic friend to those she holds dear. Apparently, according to Trixie and Sunburst, she's also an awesome marefriend. There is, of course, one big problem with that theory: How can you be an awesome marefriend if you don't even know you're dating your best friends in the first place? Starlight may or may not need to add "Romantically Inept Doofus" to her list of titles.
