Starlight has always distrusted friendship, but, when she is infected by a disease transmitted via magic, she has no choice but to listen to some lessons about friendship from Double Diamond. The [Sex] tag is for language that indicates something happens, nothing graphic, and that is why it requires the [Teen] rating. While all my Starlight stories are plotted carefully to not conflict with her depiction in the show, nothing in the show implies the Enforcerverse milieu, so I'm bowing to the suggestion and including the [Alternate universe] tag.

The story is written as a one-shot (2 chapters due to size). Technically, this is a sequel to The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed reading out of order. This story is as good a place to start reading these stories as any. In a sense, it is a prequel for Starlight and the Double Diamond Affair (tagged M), but the Our Town events in The Cutie Map are a few years away and will come between this story and and that story. Starlight brings up her past often in story, even revealing information from the novel The Runaway Bodyguard. It could be considered spoilers. As the author, I don’t think it substantially lessens the impact of the other stories.

Y'know, I was once an average guy. A completely normal male human being. Sure I had my oddities but who doesn't, right? Then I woke up in Equestria after one too many shots of whiskey at 3AM whilst watching some random ass anime.

It's no secret that Equestria has been the current habitat for various lifeforms, like and unlike them, even before its establishment over a millennia ago; in fact, one of which is a draconequus, a serpentine chimera composed of various anatomies belonging to other creatures yet identified as one of great power: as such, the lifeform in question needs no introduction whatsoever.

Called Discord, he's known as one of the most ancient of adversaries faced by the Equestrians themselves, especially by their rulers, Celestia and Luna: once upon a time, they'd both sealed him up into his stone imprisonment through the usage of the Elements of Harmony, the very same artifacts used by one of their students and her five friends to end his short reign of terror.

Although freed from his petrification thrice, he no longer has any desire at all to subjugate or seek revenge but many have known about it far too well; what remains unaware to themselves is the fact like most, if not all, creatures sleep on and throughout a fraction of the day though in his case, the innate abilities he’d possesses seem to have little to no effect compared to being awake.
