With a week to prepare for the Summer Sun Celebration, Twilight and Rarity are performing an experiment to prepare for the festivites. When the experiment goes wrong, Twilight accidentally makes Rarity fall in love with her. Without an anitidote, Twilight must endure Rarity's antics, at least until the end of summer.

When Sweetie Belle (sort of) accidentally causes Twilight to fall for Rarity with a love potion, things go bad.

Alone in the throne room with her sister and the royal body guard, Twilight Sparkle, the young princess decides that she's going to find out the identity of Rarity's secret crush, no matter what.

Part of the Bodyguard!AU Series, based on Earthsong9405's AU where Twilight is the bodyguard to a "Princess/Queen Rarity". Prior knowledge of the AU is not necessary to read the story.

Winter rain. Always fun. Especially if you're stuck out in it dripping wet with no umbrella. For a mare like Rarity, who hates to get even a smidgen of dirt or slush or water on her hooves, this is quickly turning out to be one of the worst days ever.

On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

Princess Celestia sends Twilight to a human school to learn how to be more human in case another incident happened... but what Twilight finds is that Yokai Academy is nothing like the human world she went to before. Will Twilight be able to return to Equestria in one piece, or will she be overtaken by the monsters at Yokai Academy first?

Equestria is beautiful world, filled with colourful ponies who all get along nicely with each other. However, it's also a world full of monsters. Dragons, hydras, changelings; this world is full of them. However, they are easily distinguished by their selfish goals and bestial methods. Ponies all avoid such monsters whenever they can, and view them all as evil and dangerous. But what would happen if real monsters came to this world? What if these monsters were more like ponies than monsters? Would they be accepted for who they were, or would they just be seen as nothing more than monsters and be ostracised for who they were?
