This story is a sequel to Morning Glory

The sequel to 'Morning Glory- About Last Night...'

Applejack and Rainbow Dash go on their first date. Was their drunken fling a one night thing, or is there something deeper between them?

Inspired by the song "Can You Read My Mind" by Maureen McGovern from 'Superman.'

Cover-art is (hopefully) a temporary place-holder.

Oh Fortis, where are you?

Before there was the Gryphon Kingdom, there were the Griffin Tribes.

Before there was unity, there was strife.

Before peace, there was war.

Blessed Arnau is the Last Lady of the North, facing an enormous task. The griffins face a seemingly unstoppable enemy tide—The Cloven of the Sun. Marching endlessly northwards, they hunt for the remnants of the griffin Tribes making their last stand in the stronghold of Falhstein, a stronghold that has not tasted war in decades.

With promise of support from Fortis, a mere commoner of surprisingly sharp mind and will, she is tasked to lead a defense that will mean the survival or end of her race.

This is her story.

This is my first official World Building Alliance prompt entry for May 2013. Word Count: 5,480

Scored 4.42/5. Second Place for May 2013 Prompt.

The story takes place in the The Gentlemanverse, predating the a time before Equestria opens a portal to Earth. It is an exploration of Gryphon Kingdom history before the events of Feathered Heart.

Rainbow Dash, the greatest flyer to ever come out of Cloudsdale, was actually foaled in little old Ponyville, or was she even foaled at all?

In the original version of MLP:FiM there was no Rainbow Dash. There was Firefly instead, but due to some legalities problems the character was cosmetically changed and renamed Rainbow Dash.

This is an fanfic adaptation of that transition based on material posted online from excerpts of interviews by Fyre-Flye (Lauren Faust) herself.

Long ago, at the top of the world, Love ruled a magnificent frozen empire. Then the sun rose, and darkness fell.

* Now with an audio reading by Illya Leonov! *

Featured by Seattle's Angels:
"Horizon, taking almost wholesale the structure of T. S. Eliot’s The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, has done something really incredible here. He’s managed to not only write some beautiful poetry about Sombra, Celestia, and the dichotomy of ice and fire, but tell a coherent story of longing and loss." – alexmagnet
"Melt is perhaps, by what I’ve seen, the best [poetry] this fandom has to offer." – RazgrizS57

"Highly Recommended" by Present Perfect

"This is one of the finest examples of literature produced by the fandom, a beautiful homage to T.S. Eliot."Illya Leonov

Big McIntosh: quiet, calm, reserved, hard working, and strong. A pony of few words dedicated to his family. Everyone in Ponyville knows the huge red stallion and his massive green apple cutie mark on sight. Just don't ask him how he got it.

This is the tale of Big McIntosh's cutie mark and the tragedy that surrounds it as seen from the present.

Completed, sequel currently undergoing severe editing.

This story is a sequel to Morning Glory

My entry for Turnabout Storm's "Wright a Bad Ending Contest". NOTE: NOT A CANONICAL ENDING TO THE SERIES!

The verdict has come down, and Rainbow Dash is guilty. She's to be banished from Equestria, and there's nothing Phoenix, Twilight, or anypony else can do to stop it. But not every bad ending is necessarily tragic.

*This is a side story to The Winds of Change, and starts after the first chapter of the sequel.*
With the sudden re-drafting of Jason and Dash into the military, Scootaloo is left feeling more alone than she can remember. Sure, she still has her friends, but friends can't just replace parents. And now with knowledge of her parent's leave all over the town, Diamond Tiara's bound to pick up on her weakness. But she's not the same scared, defenseless pony she was a month ago, is she?

Honestly, this works without knowledge of the prior story, besides the fact that Jason and Dash are her parents, and that they both have a heavy military background. Other than that, it's just another story.

Tags were hard with this, I have to say. There's only light romance, so don't worry about implied foalcon. There's no human tag, because Jason's only mentioned, and is barely involved if at all.
