A 1k word flash fic. Not related to whatever contests may or may not be going on. Inspired by the weird dance they do in their 3 second ending slide from the MLP movie where Applejack lasso's Rainbow and they make faces at each other.

Lamb Chop has come a long way to find her place, and even now, she feels like she doesn't quite fit. Her Griffonstone accent baffles Equestrian ponies from the first word, to say nothing of her name, or her nonchalance toward carnivores and their dietary requirements. She's been a herd of one since the call of her mark sent her here, and she's not sure when, if ever, that will change.

But that's okay, because until she has land and a flock of her own, there's no end to farmponies who need a sheep guardian. And for Lamb Chop, finally being in a country with charges able to speak back when she talks to them is a dream come true.

Unfortunately, sapience also comes with drawbacks. Being placed into a role of matchmaker for a smitten ewe had not been in the job description, but even if her role here in Ponyville is temporary, Lamb Chop will do anything to help her charges.

Alicorns have mercy on her.

It's Nightmare Night, and Rainbow and Applejack are determined to prove which of them is braver. How? Well by going into the Everfree forest and doing highly dangerous activities of course!

Perhaps it was evidence of their long standing friendship, maybe they just felt a little more generous or considerate this year than before, or maybe...it's a little something else between the two. Whatever the reason, Applejack and Rainbow were more thoughtful this year with their Hearths Warming gift to the other, and both want to know if the other will like it.

An exploration of what might happen a little further down the road in AJ and RD's relationship. Don't get me wrong, I'm a firm AppleDash shipper, but I do sometimes wonder how well they would work out. They would both certainly have a lot of learning and growing to do.

Winter has just begun in Equestria, and as always it's a rather sad time for Rainbow Dash, considering her pet Tank hibernates throughout the entire season. However, this year Applejack decides she's going to try and raise her friends spirits.

“Hey, Rainbow?”

“What?”

“Are we gay?”

"...What?"

Written on a whim after a weird dream and a bout of insomnia. I am not sorry.

After Granny Smith's funeral, life starts to pile up on Applejack. When she finally realises her relationship with Rainbow Dash isn't as strong as she thought, Pinkie Pie steps in as Ponyville's resident love doctor. But can she treat these two patients when their infectious love has spread to her?

When she realises too late that she's more invested than just a third-party observer, can she still trust herself to do what's right, or will she take this carriage by the reigns and ride it 'till the rooter calls for morning?
