When I lost my sight, I became a recluse. I hid away, staying in my own world instead of out in the one meant for those with sight. But when Princess Celestia had me move to Ponyville, I had to adjust to a new walk of life, again intended for those with sight. I guess I'm doing okay, thanks to a certain pegasus mare whose kindness and gentle voice got through to me where everyone else has failed.

Clockwork was a relic left to rot in the Royal Vaults, brought to life by a stroke of fate. As it is sent into the Void between worlds by the same event that gave it life, it soon discovers that there are other worlds besides it own. And they are all in danger. The Black Tide is spreading into every reality, determined to convert everything in existence into itself. To combat this threat, Clockwork must enlist the help of Twilight Sparkle, every one of her.

Story timeline occurs after Equestria Girls but before the beginning of Season 4.

Curious of a game she finds, Twilight Sparkle enlists her friends into playing the long forgotten game Lairs & Lycanthropy. Instead of playing the simple game they find themselves pushed into an alternate world where things are far more dangerous and chaotic. Together the group of friends must overcome the challenges this new world presents them to get to the root of why they were pulled there, and how they might return home.
