For so long I've been living life like a marionette on its last string. Only one thing kept me from falling into emptiness. That one thing that kept me going. It gave me a reason to pretend that life still mattered.

Only one pony in the world ever showed me a speck of kindness when I never deserved it. And now she's gone.

I'm falling, and the only thing that scares me is what I'll find when I hit the ground.

(Comments contain spoilers.)

A big thank you to PresentPerfect for his tireless help in editing this fic.

Rainbow Dash is the most epically winning pony there is. She wins so much, she had three epic wins before she even woke up. And with her best friend le Pinkie Pie, how could she ever possibly stop winning...epically?

Twilight thinks she knows how, and the answer isn't a good one. Will she be able to help Rainbow Dash before her epic wins become an epic... fail?

Part of (le) Winningverse (because I said so).

Comic illustrations done by (the awesome) Chromosome.

At Celestia's behest, Twilight Sparkle arrives in Ponyville to prepare for the Summer Sun Celebration, and potentially the return of Nightmare Moon.

Her preparations will be anything but easy. The stallions in charge of the festivities all seem to have taken a "romantic" interest in her, and every one of them is terrible at flirting. Really terrible. Really.

T for innuendo/creepy behavior. Thanks to Sereg for prereading and to Midnight Rambler for helping with the first draft song sequence. Thanks to Posey, Jetto, Blank!, and Kuroi Tsubasa Tenshi for editing (Plus three other anons who didn't give me their fimfic names). Especial thanks to whatmustido and ocalhoun for nitpicking the hell out of this mess.

Fourteen authors, one story. I foresee precisely zero problems.

This is the culmination of a round-robin event in which a whole bunch of neato folks whose words you may have read before wrote a chapter each in one big story, with the proviso that they were only allowed to see the preceding chapter. This was totally a cool idea, like, a year ago.

This is the story that they wrote, and these are the people who wrote it:

Arcainum
Blueshift
Zay-el
Alexstrazsa
Ninestempest
Lucky Dreams
Obselescence
Whatever Rusty's Fimfic Name Is
Ponydora Prancypants
Cold in Gardez
Eakin
Wanderer D
Dawn Scroll
Pen Stroke

There are no elephants.

Life is a garden, beautiful when it blooms. More than time and more than labor, it requires devotion. Rarity and Fluttershy have been growing a garden for years, even if only one of them knows it.

Things happen. Nothing happens in between these things. If they did, they'd simply be things with more nothing between 'em. So how do you measure the nothing? Two ponies, equally flawed, intend to find out together... no matter how far it takes them.

This is the story that won first place in /fic/'s eighteenth write-off competition. The original story--here, split into three chapters--was written and edited over a period of just seventy two hours. I intend to add additional chapters whenever the fit comes upon me. Do yourself a big favor and check out all the other awesome entries as well!

Twilight makes a trip across town in search of something to wake her up. Sometimes awareness is where we least expect it.

Warning: Contains unnecessarily verbose, overly-complicated, inscrutably dense literary self-indulgence.

Now in the process of being dissected in a series of blog posts—check them out if you'd like some help understanding the story:
Dismantling the Morning: Part 1
Dismantling the Morning: Part 2: Em-dashes and Dictionaries
Dismantling the Morning: Part 3: Breakfast on Bloomsday

All included satire is at the permission of the respective authors (allusions are another matter).

Cover art graciously provided by Stinkehund, edited by knighty.

A hundred years after the last of their original friends passed away, Spike the dragon, former apprentice to Princess Twilight Sparkle, has been arrested for a most heinous crime. What is this crime and why did this happen? Now Twilight must find a way to solve this situation.

Warning: DO NOT READ
While nothing explicit happens in this story at all, what’s left to the imagination is more than enough to question the sanity of all involved; characters, readers and author alike.

If you feel the need to read this and comment, please pretend you didn’t and start with “I didn’t read this, but...”

Twilight Sparkle is pregnant - and nopony is more surprised than she is. Confronted with the overwhelming responsibility of motherhood, the young mare has to decide whether she is truly up to the task of being a single parent. For a pony who has proven her dedication, intelligence, and strength of character countless times, armed with the bonds of friendship and love, it shouldn't be a difficult choice.

But, as with everything Twilight has done in her life, the circumstances and decisions she must manage are anything but simple.
