If only Canterlot weren't under attack by the endless swarms of the Changeling army...

While on a diplomatic trip to the Zebrican Isles, Cadance, Twilight, and Spike stumble across a hilariously embarrassing secret of Luna's.

Luna doesn't think it's nearly as funny as they do.

Sometimes some coincidences can have drastic consequences. Princess Twilight unable to sleep is an example of one of these coincidences.

The Tantibus: A magic seemingly made by Princess Luna to torture herself for her crimes as Nightmare Moon. Why would she do such a thing? How would she do such a thing? Only one pony knows, and she is finally ready to talk.

Rumors of a dark cult on the rise are circulating around Equestria. As Princess, Twilight Sparkle has no choice but to investigate this potentially dangerous development.

When she finds that the cult is worshiping her as a divine figure, things become more uncomfortable.

So Twilight falls back to her safe answer: consulting with Celestia for advice.

Unfortunately, Celestia's answers are not what Twilight expected.

Twilight Sparkle decides to stop wearing a costume for Nightmare Night... and then discovers the perfect reason to keep doing it.

Twilight Sparkle is cut off from her plans to meet her family in Canterlot for Hearth's Warming! Without any means to get to her family, she turns inward, doing what she can to bring her family traditions to her friends in Ponyville and discover the meaning and significance of the season.

Author's Note: This story was an entry on deviantArt for a writing contest held by the inestimable caashley and to certainly my surprise, this was declared the winner out of 20 other very excellent pieces.
