Is almost complete. I apologize for the delay, for it has been and will be more than ten days between chapters at this point.
Possible spoilers for Cake Thief below, so ...
Chapter 5 - Muffins and Mysteries!
In which everyone's favorite Mare of Muffins becomes a viewpoint character. I honestly loved writing Muffins for this. She's bubbly, happy, and a little silly. I had a harder time writing Twilight in this. She's in between her enthusiastic about everything related to learning phase and where we see her in the show, monofocusing on a single task, and it's a little hard to try and find a balance that I feel works for her.
This is just a heads up to my followers and the followers of Twilight Sparkle and the Cake Thief.
I will be going on vacation three days hence, starting my trip down to visit my folks on the 23rd. Updates for Cake Thief have stalled in part because of that, and because I hit a snag working on the next chapter. I have it worked out, though, and I will continue working on it during my vacation.
My apologies.
Soo... after a few comments and my prereader/editor told me that the story is rather humorous/comedic (in later chapters, too), I decided to do something I rarely do. I added a tag post-publishing.
Yes, Twilight Sparkle and the Cake Thief lends itself easily to comedy, and while I initially thought maybe it would be more slice of lifey, the mystery tag and my intentions with the story had led me to use the mystery tag alone.
