But then everything goes downhill as:

A nursery tale is apparently real
And five insane mares won't leave him alone long enough to undo this mess.

In hindsight he really should have just let the butler go to Ponyville instead.

Princess Celestia was dreaming of the last piece of cake in the fridge. However, when she woke up the next morning she found that the cake had disappeared. Upset, she rounded up the most likely suspects Blueblood and Cadence.

Which one of the foals ate her cake?

** PLEASE NOTE: This is an extended-universe MLP story, which means it will primarily involve the races outside of Equestria for the most part. Most of this is post-movie headcanon, so, proceed with caution. **

A feud is taking place beyond Equestria, to the southernmost part of the world, where three countries have been in racially-induced troubles for the past few decades. Unfortunately for them, there is an ancient evil of unspeakable proportions that has been sleeping within their soil since ancient times, and it is threatening to surface and show its face at long last, destroying the surrounding areas in the process. However, there is a prophecy passed down through generations; through an ancient artifact of great power. And when an unknowing cult revives the Storm King, the wheels are set in motion.

Seven souls will embark on a long, incredible journey to thwart the ancient evil and send it back down to where it belongs once and for all.

And the combined power of three champions will save the day.

...But first, the newly-revived Storm King must go head-to-head with his demons, literal and figurative, of the past and present.

And that is not going to be an easy task.

Upon a balcony, above a city of white and magic. Two ponies meet for the first time after the events after a certain failed Gala. And discuss their love, consequences and how to deal with a valid situation that might be created because of this.

A rather short one-shot that invaded my mind once

Bored of his lavish royal lifestyle, and the countless female suitors offered to him, Prince Blueblood takes a vacation from the good life to explore the simple quaintness of a small town. But only in Ponyville does the prince lay eyes on the most beautiful specimen he had ever seen: a brawny mare harvesting apples in the dirt and mud. Little does Blueblood realize how much his encounter with the simple farmer will change his way of life, and hers as well.

After being ditched by Rarity, Applejack finds herself on a train to Canterlot for a fashion show. The train was just under a tunnel when there was a crash. Now Applejack is stuck on a train with no way out with a stallion she wished wasn't there.

After the Grand Galloping Gala, a certain snobbish prince is stricken with amnesia, with no recollection of what he has been doing with his life up till now. He only remembers two things: the golden-maned mare who rescued him from the chaos of the ballroom, and that she called him a "prince".

(BluebloodxApplejack. Written way back between seasons one and two, so obviously not quite canon. This shipping started as a bit of a joke, but I grew attached and wrote this for fun.)
