With Sunset's high school graduation looming ever closer, Twilight knows she has to ask her a very important question while they travel together today. The problem is, she's just realized she doesn't know how to ask her question.

The beautiful sights and sounds of a sunny day in the small town of Gifthorse Beach are to be the backdrop of the wedding of Sunset Shimmer and Rarity. A perfect day, the perfect spot, and course, the perfect dress made by the bride herself.

However, as the old saying is quick to remind, "something always goes wrong at a wedding."

Sunset knows that. Rarity knows that. But it's still going to happen to them all the same.

The bags are packed, the passports acquired, the tickets bought. Today's the day. But not every trip is a vacation, and anticipation feels a lot like anxiety. This surgery is a very big deal for Rarity, and it could be the biggest test of their relationship yet. Can they weather this storm?

After the Dazzlings have been defeated, Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer have to deal with missing each other. Writing each other through the books soon leads to a surprise visit in the human world as well as blossoming feelings.

Human Twilight Sparkle is zeroing in on the sources of all those mysterious energy outbursts, eager to find out what’s going on.

When she causes an accident, Sunset and Twilight realize how precarious an inter-dimensional relationship can be, and Sunset is forced to deal with the human world's Twilight.

Sunset confesses to Twilight one day after school, and not quite sure how to take it, Twilight goes on a quest to solve the greatest equation of all: What is love?

As a final special outing before Twilight leaves for college, she and Sunset venture to the northern section of Norway, where the sun never sleeps.

If only someone told Sunset beforehand.

It's the first day of Spring Break, so the Rainbooms and the Dazzlings decide where better to spend it then at the beach? While there, Sunset is asked by Adagio if she'd be willing to see something alone with her.

Sunset and Twilight have been together for awhile now, and are in the final preparations for their wedding. However Twilight raises a question that makes Sunset pause, what about Sunset's family from Equestria? So they set out to find out what happened to Sunset's last surviving family member, her little sister.

She's learned to tolerate a lot of questionable behavior that others would frown upon in a romantic partner. But one day her limits are pushed and she now has to decide if she has to be Twilight's moral guide or should she cut her loses and bail?

Chrysalis has returned to Canterlot, but this time under a flag of truce, instead of a banner of war. She has come because her race is dying, and much to everponies surprise, the last hope for her race is in Equestria.

However, nopony is prepared for the news of who is carrying this last hope, nor the ramifications of what this last hope is likely to bring.

Rating: Rated teen for some sexual scenes and violence in later chapters.

Warning Number 1: Later chapters may contain scenes of graphic violence, viewer discretion is advised.
Warning Number 2: Despite the similar title, this is not a ponyfied version of the movie Enemy Mine.
Warning Number 3: I know Twilight is a unicorn in the cover, but she will be an alicorn in the story, just so no-one is confused.
Warning Number 4: Twilight's brother Shining Armor will me getting a major change to his character portrayal throughout the course of this fic, a change that will involve some dark undertones, which is one of the reasons for the dark tag.
Final Warning: This fic will delve deep into a fannon portrayal of changeling hive structure, hierarchy, and culture, so those who already have head cannon's behind those and are unwilling to accept or tolerate new ones should probably steer clear of this fic.
