Octavia always dreamed of meeting the musical prodigy who inspired her to begin playing the cello. The only problem is the young composer vanished nearly seven years ago. With the help of a fashion tycoon expanding into the music industry and a DJ who rocketed to fame in recent years, Octavia may learn more about her idol than anyone before. Unfortunately secrets seem to have a way of complicating things.

This story is a sequel to First Meeting

Years have passed since Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch first met on the platforms of Canterlot Station. In the short time that they spent together, they became the best of friends. Then they separated, both of them returning to their homes, meeting one another with less and less frequency as time went on. Within a few years, they had only memories of each other, impressions of the fillies that they used to be.

And then they met again, in the hallways of the Canterlot Conservatory.

Octavia is a high-class pony. Fine alcohol is her wont, and uncouthness her intense chagrin. Such is her surprise to find herself lumbered with an insufferable oaf of a DJ pony. However, sometimes these situations work themselves into a satisfactory ultimatum all the same.

Octavia was always one for planning ahead. Whether it be dinner that night or her career years away, she always had an idea of how to get there. The right amount of practice, the proper performance to the right pony, and she could see her life progressing exactly as it should.

However, suddenly turning into an alicorn kind of put a damper on her plans.

Octavia had it all. Fame, money, respect, and a warm home centered in the lower district of Canterlot. However, a series of unfortunate events sends everything she had come to know into a crumbling nightmare and lands the talented mare on the streets of the Equestrian capital. On the verge of starvation, an old friend convinces her to move out to a little village, known as Ponyville where she can rent out the spare cottage.
Octavia leaps at the chance gathering what little she has left. Little does she know she has a roommate. Not only must she now balance between recovering her lost fame, her weekly cello lessons for the fillies and colts of Ponyville, but she must also overcome the obstacle of living with a roomtmate who by her very essence is the polar opposite of her.

How will it end for this talented mare, and what secrets shall be uncovered? The future is unknown, but one thing is certain. It will be musical.

When it comes to summer, most of us think about beaches, vacationing, travel, BBQ's, pool parties, etc. But for two girls, all they can think about is each other.

Everypony knows the name DJ PON-3. She's the most famous—or infamous, depending on your social circle—DJ in Equestria. She's loud, she's crude, she likes to party. Everywhere she goes, fun follows. She has ponies worshiping the ground she walks on, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Or would she?

Everyone has a facade hiding who they really are underneath, and every facade has a weak point. The time has come for the true Vinyl Scratch to be revealed to the world, whether she likes it or not.
