The Alicorn Sisters relationship has become strained. One prefers to rule through sheer strength, the other prefers gentle pushes. Their differences in ruling style have created a split Equestria. I'd think that the anime is teen rated. There aren't that many scenes of actual gore and I plan on trying to stick faithful to the source material. There is only one point in the anime where a characters death comes out of left field, but I will try to explain how that will done when I get to it. (Either Chapter 13 or 14) In terms of actual violence, I have seen much worse. It is an anime with robots and giant monsters, think of what that might mean.
Let's just say that on some chapters more than others the sad/dark tags are more important than others.

That is not my fault. Lots of stories have something like that. It might just be random coincidence. I also wrote the description before I went to bed yesterday. Trying to differentiate between a Xam'd and a Ponyform weapon (which the first one will be seen in chapter 2) is difficult because the anime never really describes what the differences are. At some points the terms are almost used interchangeably depending on the character.
It is frustrating to have to figure out how the war started, it never really completely says until the last couple chapters where the plot is kicked into overdrive.
When Applejack comes in the story I might have to create a back story of a never completely explained battle and they reference the battle constantly whenever the character is on screen. It is only hinted at in later episodes what really happened.
These reasons are why it is difficult to create a long description of the story without giving away plot points that won't come in the story for a decent amount of time.
