Nice fic. So much more could be done with the concept; there's a load of dramatic potential with the other ponies, especially when the fact sinks in that he feels scared and guilty about something he needs to do to survive.
These are some of my favorite Spike stories.
Ever think of doing a seqaul of him trying to cope.

In my story, the main fur kinda tells spike to eat meat when he feels like it.
Like an apex predator and him being a dragon..

This is something not enough writers do. Spike is a predator, and living with ponies it's not like they know anything about this sort of instinct. Really the only people that could help is ether asking Ember or Discord.
