So Pinkie basically did what the Italians did on Earth (although she still seems to have castled out of check, not to mention that castling had a few different versions at first).
I guess at least one of the rule got somewhat rewinded to before Pinkie happened: In the current version of chess, you can't castle out, into, or across a check.
The two parts don't really seem to belong in one story, but I'm loving this anyway.
