History was never my strong suit, so I'm kind of in the same boat as Rainbow to some extent. I really hope that Celestia's little conversation won't hurt the forming relationship between Cheerilee and Sunset as I would love to how things develop between the two and see if things may play out a little different when the Fall Formal comes, but at least Sunset will have some support for right after. Always hated the fact that it seemed she was on her own right then as it had to have been extremely traumatic, not to mention having to work on the wall injured.

I have to say that I'm really hoping that Sunset says yes to adoption, though I can understand her being a little nervous about Cheerilee possibly trying to use her as a replacement. Of course we know different, but in Sunset's position it is a logical conclusion to come to. I do wonder just where Sunset got the money, if it was legitimate or through other means such as bullying or selling homework and essays. Really love seeing Cheerilee in this light, I'm a sucker for Sunset adoption fics.

I really loved the end of this chapter and that Cheerilee showed no hesitation rushing to Sunset and comforting her. Hopefully she can keep Luna from giving her a trowel and forcing her to work on the wall after everything that just happened. I mean, I love Luna and all, but that is a crap move anyway you look at it.

Okay judging by the fact that Flash and Sunset are still an item this before she got blasted by magic rainbow Lazer. Although it might turn out she won't need that judging by how she's loosening up from being around Cheerilee.

P.S. I love the little rivalry Octavia and Sunset have here, as it seems right someone, also I bet Vinyl and Fluttershy are among some of the more quiet and reserved students too, even with Vinyl being a DJ and all.
I love how this near seamlessly ties into the first Equestria Girls movie, and I could imagine an alternate version of that movie with this story being a main focus.
