I wonder though if she is still alive? My theory for G5 is that she gave up her immortality in a similar manner but to stop Opaline. It took so much magic she had to sacrifice her immortality/longevity to create the Unity Crystal's. If that were made official I might accept G5 and 4 as the same universe.

I mean it could be the case not only that if Opaline knows Twilight personally either that she must have lived a very long time or Opaline what sort of in the future timeline of the aftermath of the last problem
This was a pretty nice story especially on Mother's Day so luster Dawn want to do something special for her mom Starlight making breakfast doing activities together and even made a song for her which that's pretty cool after the day and she even wrote a letter to Twilight to make her feel better after she lost so much hopefully this will give her whole for the new future ( yikes ) but anyway this was a really nice story keep up the good work and also happy Mother's Day

She won't ever outlive her friends in my headcanon for G4. I can't say what G5 will bring for certain but I'm gonna hope the Twilight of that universe which I think is alternate gave up her immortality along with Celestia, Luna and Cadance to stop Opaline at that time. Not sure about Flurry but maybe I will consider having her and Spike still be around to continue this mission to stop Opaline for good. I mean I could go by the longer lifespan stuff for them both. So the end would come either way.
