Yes he finally here

its here, i have been waiting~

A very good prologue!
Not a lot of action, but that's okay. The dialogue was strong and the environmental storytelling was effective, and the after-action report was a good conclusion. Lots of narrative holes begging to be filled, and that's just what you want from an introductory chapter.

Ya done good, my dude. Keep it going.

This chapter was more exciting, and it really picks up after about the 1/3-way point. The conversations with other characters and scene descriptions that reveal more about the setting help to move the plot along and are enjoyable. Being in Ward's head constantly is... less enjoyable, especially when there's nothing interesting happening to him. But a lot of interesting things happened at the end, and I hope to find out what the heck they were!

excited to see more!

Yes, I like this :rainbowdetermined2:
More conversations with characters who can explain things, please, it's SUPER helpful to the plot development!

I gotta say, these chapters are way better when there's someone - anyone - else around to speak to contextualize Ward's thoughts and explain what's going on. There's no way I would have guessed he was semi-possessed and holding a Curse monster without Stagona there to just explain what the heck his nonsense dreamscape was all about. Looking forward to the memory-scraping! :raritystarry:

There would've been no way of knowing without someone who knows what they're dealing with.

A good prologue to add a bit of mystery and setup for how the main story starts.

A good introduction of the Mane Character, and issues he has, along with the mane supporting Character and their relationship. Will reqd more of this later, but looking forward to see Ward when he needs to think less and act more, or a proper back and forth between Character like in the prologue. But all good thibgs in due time.

Interesting prologue. The hook is solid, and the setting promising.

Extremely on-brand that Ward's most important memory is the aftermath of Avie being orphaned, complete with a sprinkling of domestic abuse, suicide, and crushing guilt. Dude is misery personified.

Neat that we got to meet a new pony, though! The old zebra lady is cool :D

I liked the conversation with the matriarch. I still have no idea what's going on, but I wondered since the beginning just what the relationship was between Aridia and the Enclave was and it's good to have it set out and explained plainly.

Heh, that was pretty fun. It was great seeing Wildcat and Ace sniping at each other, and the confrontation with the Matriarch was intense.

Birdens. That is all~

How much was the cover?

A little on the pricey side, but well worth it! Lillowisp is an amazing artist!

I adore the exchanges between Avie and Ward. You can tell that she truly feels for him and he, despite the complications, deeply appreciates her, in kind.
