Thank you so much for making a sequel to this! :pinkiehappy:
I also love just how wholesome these two's relationship is.

By the Three Sirens, did she ever love it.

I love this intro to bits. I can’t wait to see this adventure through to the end.

Doing the lord's work making excellent sea pony content like this. Can't wait to see where it goes next!

Ever since you made the blog teasing this story, I've been waiting for it. I’m excited and can’t wait to dive back in! Pun intended.:pinkiehappy:

color me intrigued.

Oh wow I did not expect a sequel, I'll definitely track this and start reading it at some point

This little hellion is the absolute best.

The hook here is such a great setup. I really enjoy there being some pretty high stakes to their story. And from the way things are looking, that romance is only going to keep blooming.

Awesome to see you taking the original story this direction.

Well get a fav from me! AMAZING!

It took longer than I thought to finally get a 'shoo be doo' related comment on either fic

This is looking very good already. They're going to have some real trouble with Tempest...

Какой планируется размер истории? (Надеюсь наличие встроенного переводчика в браузере не проблема?)

11633521
At the moment, the completed story sits at a little over 65,000 words, across 13 total chapters.

That sort of expanded canon storytelling is exactly what I dig. Will eagerly read all
Amazing cover art, btw!

11633688
Thanks! To say I'm pleased with how it turned out would be a huge understatement!

Queen Novo called out "SOS!"

This is really cute, can‘t wait for more!

I’m really enjoying all the seapony history you’ve integrated into this story. On top of Star and Flow’s romance, it makes for a very sweet story. I also greatly appreciate the use of Tempest, especially with how brutal she can be in her methods, here.

“Well, let’s recap real quick. They fled their home, and started living adjacent to yours. You seaponies lent a fin because...” He trailed off, looking to Flowing for an actual reason.

“’Cause it’s our thing. Shoo be do, remember?”

“Right. You shoo be did your best to help them, and they shoo be stole your waters in response.”

I love you for this.

:moustache: Shoo be do
:duck: Shoo be did
:facehoof: Shoo be done
:ajsmug: Shoo be going
:pinkiehappy: Shoo be partying
:rainbowlaugh: Shoo be home by ten
:yay: Shoo be quiet
:trollestia: Shoo be another piece of cake
:derpyderp2: Shoo fly shoo

Like a leviathan between his legs.

Oh my god.

:moustache: Just like mares to blabber about a guys stick
:duck: Or dragons tastes in diamonds
:rainbowlaugh: motion of the ocean
:ajsmug: The sees between the knees
:pinkiehappy: Holy mackerel
:flutterrage: DISCORD! Bed now!
:facehoof: I'm so alone
:trollestia: Crab Cake?

Tempest's a serious villain. Let's hope she can't follow Star Point and Flowing underwater...

Well technically he is in distress when she's not there, so by law, she must attend, right? 😇

Isn't the fish stank caused by breakdown of chemicals as a result of death and deregulation? That is to say, she shouldn't be all that stinky just by being in a container overnight (so long as she's still living).
It occurs that we haven't noticed if she's been described with a transformation pearl shard, so she must be a true seapony and not a transformed 'griff?

It's only stuff. Stuff can be replaced. People? Not so much.
Time to see if Flowing has the good stuff! It will be the longest kiss they'll ever share!

"and the volume! Other seapony offerings look like a lot because it spreads out, but this guy...."

11639461
Hey, if it wriggle then who would judge? 😁

11643625
For the most part this is true, though fresh fish does still have a bit of an oily scent to it. It's not really unpleasant, but it's certainly distinct. But yeah, the whole 'stinky fish' smell comes from them aging/dying, you're correct.

It occurs that we haven't noticed if she's been described with a transformation pearl shard, so she must be a true seapony and not a transformed 'griff?

This is accurate. and she gets into it a bit more in Chapter 3. I guess I liked the idea of a fish-pony experiencing many assets of life above the waves for the first time, but still through the lens of a species who considers her home in the water.

The shoo be do’ing continues to be the absolute best thing.

They’re so very sweet. Flowing has a good set of fins on her; that rescue was something so utterly romantic, brilliant, and also a little bit funny to visualize.

:duck: Sunk ship? She can salvage anything from the bottom
:moustache: Sea food and eat it
:trollestia: See Cake and eat it
:facehoof: Shoo be do it somewhere else I'm on a book diet
:rainbowlaugh: Celestia the air ship
:pinkiegasp: Celestia the land whale
:flutterrage: Discord stop laughing!
:ajsmug: He's not wrong

Marathon swimmer she is not, even though her trips back and forth may have been nice distance, sprinting is usually way less efficient.
Getting a feeling they won't be making it to Equestria proper...

Absolutely love these two. Great work on this story so far.cant wait to see where it goes

“Honestly?” Flowing smirked. “I didn’t wanna be the first to say it. But yeah... It’s... Making me feel kinda like I’m in some cool story or something.”

Oh dear god. They're slowly becoming self-aware. Soon they'll be breaking the 4th wall

:moustache: And the Light house keeper returned none the wiser, Except his blankets smelled of canned tuna and Old Spice.
:twilightoops: Spike!
:duck: I prefer wine and a nice perfume with a smoky sausage
:facehoof: What am I going to do with you two?
:duck::moustache: Foal sit the dracony twins...
:twilightangry2: Pinkey
:pinkiegasp: What? Dracony, Pongon, Unigon, Dragacorn, Dragonpon, Colton, Filligon, Unidragacorn, Dragafoal, Foalagon and Armored Zippo

For me, it’s:

I’m so glad they’re having a great time. Well, barring Tempest. But it’s super neat to see her given so much room to improvise and come up with plans on the fly. Hope this kind of balance between the lovers and Tempest stays its course throughout the story!

Slowed down but still dangerously capable. Patrolling the coasts is all well and good, but if they immediately head inland can escape be had?
If the boat is so small that must mean they're not far at all from the mainland. Let's hope the birds aren't terribly hungry...

This story is turning out to be really good so far. Quite excited to see where it goes from here.
I also really enjoyed the interlewd there's been so far. Would be fun to see them sprinkled in here or there. Interested to see how it all ties in with the start of the movie too; whether they're the reason the Storm Kind played his hand when he did, sort of thing.

11652423
>the interlewd

You're smarter than me for thinking to call it that.

Unlucky coincidence for the duo! Though I feel like Griffonstone will itself will bring them more problems than Tempest...

Man, this is probably the best seapony story on the entire site. I absolutely adore the characters more and more with each chapter, and it's so nice to see them staying strong as a couple instead of being at each others' throats while they face danger. This story feels like a real adventure so far, and I'm glad to be on it with Flowing and Star.

Ohboi, hopefully the town has recovered and can help, at least to understand what happened.

Oh dear, I get the feeling that this might not end well.

:ajbemused: A Kraken ?
:moustache: A crack in the boat?
:duck: Ship darling
:rainbowkiss: Sparity?
:pinkiegasp: You two are on the tramp steamer too?
:facehoof: Sparity tramp?
:flutterrage: Discord stop it! There's ponies on that cargo ship!
:trollestia: Oil tanker?
:twilightoops: Where? Wut? How?

I really like Cirrus.

Another really solid chapter. Some nice bits of world building and foreshadowing. More oceanic terror to come is really neat.

Can't help but think Cirrus is going to get under Tempest's armour at some point too.

I honestly find myself agreeing with Star Point the more that this goes on, because as much as I can understand why, Queen Novo is honestly seeming pretty tyrannical towards the Seaponies.

11660602
Same, and I do hope that we get to see it.

I think even if Flowing doesn’t realize it, she’s lived a very interesting life. Star Point really is just another adventure for her. It’s nice to see her share it with him. Also, tactical swooping!

Really enjoyed the action and description of the lusca, as well as the nature of Cirrus’ and Tempest’s own ongoings.

It's funny, they think they're bringing overkill, and yet....
A narrow escape for our intrepid adventurous couple, luckily outwitting a squid worked wonders. If things weren't so dire, somepony might think Flowing was putting on a show!

She'll look back to her adventure " I did that carrying my first foal?
:moustache: Whoa , Did I hear that right?
:duck: Hormones made her cray cray
:unsuresweetie: Just like you
:raritystarry: Sweetie Belle!
:rainbowlaugh: She's not wrong
:moustache: Now both of them are beaten black & blue
:ajbemused: Git my rope
:pinkiegasp: can I can I can I ? I got a pipe!
:facehoof:
