Most of my MLP stories feature meetings of G1 and G4.

E

There's trouble in Canterlot City. A group of villains from Empire City, lead by Big Boss, started causing trouble throughout the town. Twilight, Sunset, and their friends were recruited by Baldwin P. Vess, Codename: Bulletproof, to help defend their town from these crooks. Good luck, girls. You'll need it.

Thanks.

It has that nice 80's show vibe. Like Transformers G1, G.I. Joe, etc..

Now here's a crossover I never expected to see. In fact, I think this is the first C.O.P.S. fanfic I've ever heard of, even if it is a crossover.

Holy mackerel. I have to admit that I actually saw a few episodes of the C.O.P.S. cartoon as a kid and I like how this story looks so far. Definitely liked the girls' meeting with Bulletproof with the latter letting them know about the Big Boss and his gang about to make trouble in Canterlot City. Of course, letting the Canterlot City police also know might at least be professional courtesy, but the girls are probably better equipped to handle the villains, given they DO have super-powers (as of "Legend of Everfee") and all (something they might try to keep secret, but given Bulletproof's research resources, he might have some justification in knowing about).

Of course, this could be set about the time that the girls are just a couple of weeks away from graduating from Canterlot High (which would be a good metaphor for the girls getting ready to "graduate" to higher-level heroics).

Anyway, great work on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up and on to the next chapter.

Really good job on this latest chapter. Definitely liked the work that went into the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Definitely liked the help Pinkie got from Inferno against Rock Krusher AND Pinkie making good use of her explosive sprinkle power.

I could see one of the last battles in this adventure being Twilight vs. Doctor Bad Vibes (mainly for Twilight fighting an opponent that could remind her, in some way, of how SHE could have turned out if it wasn't for Spike and the other Rainbooms and Doctor Bad Vibes getting frustrated fighting an opponent who is as smart as HE is, PLUS has telekinesis).

Another great possible scene could be Rainbow using her super-speed against your choice of the Crooks and the C.O.P.S. operative helping her could observe that they have never seen anybody move THAT fast without one of Doctor Bad Vibe's speed suits.

And, sorry about that. Just letting my imagination run away with me. And I admit my guesses are just as likely to be wrong as they are to be right.

But, at any rate, very definitely looking forward to more of this.

Another great chapter. Quite certainly appreciated the effort that went into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Liked the bit with Twilight and Shining at the museum before Mace arrived. And, yeah, also really enjoyed Twilight making that sort of quick work of Bullit's weapons and Shining's Big Brother Instinct moment on Bullit himself.

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Another well done effort on the exchanges, action, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Really appreciated the effort Sunset and Highway went to in order to get the charity money back, even if Turbo got away for the time being. Also liked Flash giving Highway a helpful tip.

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Another well-done chapter. Certainly like the work going into the exchanges, action, characterizations and future chapter set-up. REALLY loved how protective Fluttershy was of the animal shelter as well as Bowser and Blitz helping out as well.

Definitely looking forward to more of this.

Another great job on this latest chapter. Definitely appreciate the work that goes into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Really liked the scene at the fashion show before the robbery was found out about as well as Barricade helping Rarity foil the fashion theft. Rarity's one-liner about diamonds was quite appropriate given the gem construct. Of course, I could hear Barricade commenting on how he's glad Mace wasn't here (knowing how he gets around Nightshade).

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Again, some really good work on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in this latest installment. Definitely liked Checkpoint giving the Wondercolts some helpful pointers before the run-in with Beserko. I admit I kind of half-expected Buttons McBoomBoom for this one [i.e. kind of a "those fancy built-in guns don 't do you much good against somebody who is FASTER than bullets" deal) or some sort of comment from one of the C.O.P.S. on how they never saw somebody move that fast without one of Doctor Badvibes's speed suits, but Beserko works pretty well for the crook in this chapter too and I could see the C.O.P.S. making the comment about the speed "off-screen" as it were. At any rate, once again, the crooks have to leave empty-handed.

I'm guessing the next one is going to be Applejack vs. Miss Demeanor (i.e. a contest between super-strong blonde females)., though I admit that I could be wrong.

But anyway, definitely looking forward to more of this.

I'm glad you're liking this story. I'm going to have the Rainbooms go through another round of fighting crooks. And, they won't be the only ones. You'll find out soon.

11333969
Thanks for the heads up on that.

And, for some reason, and I admit that I COULD be wrong, I could certainly see the Crusaders vs. Small Fry and his gang and maybe Spike vs one of the less dangerous independents. Again, though, I freely admit that the guesses could very easily be wrong.

Another really good job on this latest chapter. The exchanges, action, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all rather well done. Definitely appreciated the chat with Braeburn concerning Apple Bloom as well as Sundown and Applejack's teamwork against Buttons. Unfortunately, it sounds like the Big Boss has gathered info on the Rainbooms and is working on preparing something for round two.

Anyway, certainly looking forward to more of this.

Rewind.

Applejack: Apple Bloom, you are coming with us. Braeburn, YOU are going to set up Camp Everfree. And if you EVER try to tell my sister what she can and can't do, I will make VERY SURE that you are uninvited to Thanksgiving until a decade after Apple Bloom graduates college. Do you understand?

Well, that was another really good chapter with great action, exchanges, characterizations and future set-up. Glad at least one of my guesses was correct. And, yes, really appreciated the Crusaders' dialogue as they were helping out at Camp Everfree and glad they had help from A.P.E.S. in stopping Small Guy and his gang.

Of course, I have to wonder if Spike and Flash are also going to get to help out against some of the crooks and, if so, which ones. Still, that's for later. And, if Spike DOES get to help out, it would probably be either in Twilight's house or at the dog park.

But, anyway, really looking forward to more of this.

Another great job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Well, Twi did a great showing against Badvibes, but the latter now knows her power source. I DID appreciate Cinch showing that she DOES have SOME standards in actually trying to stand up to Badvibes, though.

Anyway, definitely looking forward to more of this.

Another really good chapter. Definitely liked the teamwork that went into stopping Koo Koo AND his bombs.

Again, the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are well done and I'll definitely be looking forward to more of this.

Again, a really well done chapter with some wonderful exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Really appreciated the cameo by Starlight's human counterpart (of course, it makes me think that the Big Boss could try to recruit Sunset Shimmer's human counterpart as well as have Doctor Badvibes create a means of duplicating the combined powers of all seven of the Rainbooms [using Sunset's human counterpart as a test subject to make sure it was reasonably safe before he tried to gain the power for himself]). And, yeah, good Crook selection for this chapter as usual. Glad to see Fluttershy stopping Nightmare with the help of a bear and a skunk.

And, of course, maybe this could be used as a lead-off to one of the human counterparts of one of Equestria's top villains showing up in a sequel (for example, it would be pretty easy to visualize Chrysalis's human counterpart being either a crooked businesswoman, an enemy spy or a combination of both).

Anyway, definitely looking forward to more.

i did not think anybody else actually remembered C.O.P.S

I decided to try this crossover. I’m getting a lot of positive feedback.

I'm taking a shot in the dark, but I think the Crooks are launching attacks in hopes of running into the girls and scoping out their abilities. Just a thought.:applejackunsure:

Another really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up here. Definitely appreciated the logic in one con artist helping two others as well as Trixie helping expose them before they bilked too many people.

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Again, some great work on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Definitely appreciated AJ's chat with Apple Bloom concerning the stuff Braeburn said as well as the strength contest between AJ and Miss Demeanor. Great work on Longarm's part saving Apple Bloom as well.

Definitely looking forward to more of this.

What was Weevil's reason for invading the sanctuary? Unless something changed that I don't remember, he only committed crimes to feed and/or save his family (insects).

11341226
You're thinking of Bugman. Boll Weevil is a different story. Best explained in the COPS episode, "The Case of the Lesser of Two Weevils".

Another superb job on this chapter. Definitely like the work that goes into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up here. Definitely appreciated Pinkie and Mirage giving that Joker wannabe (thankfully a lot closer to the Cesar Romero version than the Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger versions) an extremely hard time and messing up his attempts at robbing that birthday party (and also glad to see the human world Spoiled being much more reasonable than the Equestrian version).

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Another really good chapter. Definitely liked the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. LOVED seeing Rainbow and Scoots putting a stop to McLuck's burglaries for the time being and the appearance of Moondancer's human counterpart.

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Once more, you did a pretty good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up here. Definitely appreciated Lightning trying to make up for her mistakes as well as Bullseye and Spitfire helping Lightning drive Louie off before he could complete his caper.

Definitely looking forward to more of this.

Dresses? Why would Nightshade steal... dresses?

11343543
Probably because they’re fabulous. And, some crooks like the best.

Well, Berzerko is chaotic enough to do something this petty. Are all of the CROOKS going to get away?

Another really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Well, on the upside, Brannigan's attempt to ruin Sunset's attempt to put her past behind her was stopped. On the downside, the Big Boss has SOMETHING big planned for the Rainbooms. Hopefully, at least MOST of the Crooks are going to get caught at the very end (between all the Rainbooms and the entire C.O.P.S. team AND the Canterlot City police and other allies all being there at once). I mean, yeah, it's understandable for the Big Boss himself to get away, but almost all of the others here have gotten caught at least a couple of times.

VERY much looking forward to more of this.

Definitely did a great job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and epilogue set-up in this second-to last chapter. REALLY loved the Rainbooms' teamwork against the Big Boss's boxoid, even if Squeeky helping his boss escape at the end.

Definitely looking forward to the epilogue.

Definitely appreciated the exchanges and characterizations in this epilogue as well as the recap. Thanks very much for doing this story.

My pleasure. Maybe this can be animated or read someday.

Well, Dr. Bad Vibes noticed the geodes. I figure his next step is to either grab them or try to jam or siphon them.
