It is a bittersweet ending, but at the same time, you give more sweetness. Timmy ultimately made the ultimate sacrifice for the betterment of everyone. It was painful to see him let go of his theories in such a situation, but at the same time, it was heartwarming that he would make such a sacrifice. I had a feeling that Sunset wouldn’t let Timmy alone with Vicky, and Timmy‘s parents prove that for all their faults, they do love him and don’t hesitate to fire Vicky when they learn of evidence of her abuse of their son.

It was painful for Cosmo and Wanda to let go of Timmy, but once they saw that he had friends who cared for him and was in a better place, they let go of their sadness because they were happy for Timmy they knew they couldn’t be with him forever, but at the same time they’re happy that he had at least found friends that cared for him and are leaving him in a good place.

Beautiful. I prefer the other ending, but I would’ve liked this ending.

This was my "in case I wrote myself into a corner" ending and one that reflected the bittersweet ending of Channel Chasers. But I felt it would make an interesting series finale for the series, for Timmy to lose his fairies but gain a new group of people to look after him.

Man, pretty bittersweet. Ironic how the ending where Timmy loses his fairies means he also won't remember the trauma he faces under the Dazzlings and be better adjusted and more willing to be around the Rainbooms due to not remembering why he lost trust in them.

So, why did the Rainbooms expose Vicky to Timmy's parents in this ending, but not in the main story? Like, what did Timmy losing his fairies do to impact that decision?

And how come Sunset and the rest of the Rainbooms kept their memories of Timmy's fairies? Given the main story had Jorgen prepared to wipe their memories had Sunset not told him she was a unicorn from another world and the other five Rainbooms having magic powers, how did Jorgen have any way to find out here since no one tells him those details?

Because Sunset wants Timmy to be the one to tell Vicky to scram so he'll learn to stand up, and because at that time, Timmy is still keeping the Rainbooms at arms length out of broken trust.

In this ending, they see Timmy has no support system and decide to intervene to give him one.

My headcanon is that Jorgen can't erase the memories of those who are magical. Hence why the Rainbooms don't lose memories.

If you are frustrated by the small details, well, that's why it is a deleted scene. :unsuresweetie:

Timmy thought this one was the most unfair of all the rules. Timmy could accept not having wishes anymore. To be a grownup, he needed to live without Cosmo and Wanda. He could accept never seeing Cosmo and Wanda again. They'd probably be too busy with their godchild to have time for him anymore, let alone be able to visit all their other former godchildren. But why did he have to forget about them? Why spend time with him if he had to forget they existed?! Why shouldn't he be allowed to remember the beings who made him feel loved when no one else did?! If fairies were about making kids happy, wouldn't taking away his good memories of them make him unhappy again?!

I can see it so people know they're made up and not real, or else chaos will happen. :fluttershysad:

"Burn the witch!" Someone bellowed. The Dazzlings ran away screaming in terror while the mob of students chased after them with a roar.

They had it coming! :rainbowlaugh:

Timmy stumbled home exhausted after getting off the bus as he always did. The neighborhood was having its annual cookoff, which meant his parents, wanting to stick it to Dinkleberg, were going to going to ditch him and leave him with...her.

going to go and ditch him with... her.*

"Wait-," Vicky pleaded before Mrs. Turner handed her husband a nailed bat. With a terrorized scream, Vicky ran out of the house with Mr. Turner chasing after her. Timmy watched all this in silent shock. His parents finally accepted Vicky was a mean bully and kicked her out. It had to be a dream, hadn't it?

"Wait-"*
At least something good came out of this regarding Vicky. :yay:

Their favorite godchild now had six angels to watch over him.

Even if this isn't the official ending of the story, I would've been fine with it either way. :raritywink:

I felt that this could be a potential series finale for FOP: Timmy losing his fairies, but getting a good caretaker in their place.

This is the ending I would use if I couldn't come up with new stories for Fairly Odd Friendship, but I feel the Rainbooms and the Odd Family have so much potential for story telling.

11783907
Does that also mean that Spike technically kept his memories of Timmy and his fairies as well too since he's a dragon from another world? Meaning maybe the Rainbooms would bring him over to Timmy's house and have him and Timmy befriend each other in this scenario?

"NEVER," Trixie yelled, much to Timmy's growing concern. "You know why I can't enjoy comics. Because my mom rips them away from me, saying that proper ladies read books." Trixie's voice became a whimper. "Every day my mom tells me what to do and what to wear." Trixie started crying. "I don't think I even have a mom," Trixie said, "I think she's more like my talent agent." Trixie angrily threw her phone away and started weeping.

Despite how much of a jerk she can be, I do feel sorry for Trixie at times. :fluttershysad:

"Look," Timmy said, "I know we didn't get off on the wrong foot, but maybe we can let bygones be bygones, start over and work together to get out of here. Trixie gave him a smile, and extended her hand.

here." Trixie gave him a smile,*

"Sure, he's gained weight," AJ said, "but he's not that fat." Sunset looked at Timmy's friends with disbelief.

What wonderful friends. :pinkiecrazy:

"Sunset," Chester said, "why didn't you say anything," Sunset said nothing but felt a small twitch in her eye as she stared at Timmy's friends..

Because you both are idiots. :ajbemused:

"Hey everybody," Gilda shouted to all the kids in the hallway, "Francis wet his pants." Everyone started laughing at the bully and pointing fingers at him. Francis felt his lip quiver at everyone's laughter before running away in tears.

He deserved it. :ajsmug:

"Dad I can hardly move," Timmy said with a frown, "or see". A massive heavy armor, built from an old radiator, covered his entire body. He was forced to wear a colander on his head like a helmet, that covered his entire body. "I can't even lift my arms," the boy said, his arms trapped in old metal pipes.

"or see." A massive heavy armor,*
Idk why, this reminds me of what Randy went through in 'A Christmas Story', albeit it's a suit of armor instead. :applejackunsure:

"Well, it can't get any-," Timmy paused as he saw a group of marathon runners coming toward him. He tried to escape, only find the armor was too heavy for him to be able to move.

get any-" Timmy paused*

"Wow take it easy," Sunset said with horror, "it's just-,"

"it's just-"*

"And when we get ba-,"

ba-"*

"And what are you going to do about it," Adagio said with a wide grin, "its three on-," Adagio's words died as Vicky pulled out her flamethrower with a vicious frown.

three on-" Adagio's words*
Never question what power Vicky has Adagio. :duck:

"Aria, Sonata," Adagio said, "be my shields." Adagio turned around, only for her sisters to be gone. Adagio let out a nervous chuckle, before running away from Timmy's house .

house.*

"Vicky's still evil," Timmy lamented, "but she's better than a bunch of brainwashing sea monsters."

I guess? :unsuresweetie:

Timmy felt like a deer in the headlights. "So Sunset, how's it-,"

it-"*

"Why?" , he wondered as he sobbed into the dirt.

"Why?" he wondered*

In this story, EG and the Fairly Oddparents are in separate worlds. Timmy is accidentally transported to the EG world after one of Jimmy Neutron's experiments went awry. The experiment also led to Cosmo's wand being fused into Timmy's body.

Despite I dislike Jimmy Neutron now as an adult I do like the idea. I can't explain why I hate him here though, it's personal. :trollestia:

"Timmy you've got to-," the machine let out a laser beam that blasted the buck-toothed boy while he was still on the platform.

"Timmy you've got to-" the machine*

Hugh broke out of his shtick to look horrified. "Jimbo! One of your friends is-."

friends is-"*

"Can you hear me?" He felt some grab his hand and pull him up.

He felt someone grab his hand*

"How did-," Flash chocked out before something interrupted him.

"How did-" Flash chocked*

You know, this is an interesting idea; Trixie‘s tomboy side was basically forgotten in canon. It’s interesting to see it being back, and it’s interesting this idea of Trixie sharing fairy odd parents with Timmy. I’m interested and have the story of the goal because Timmy still has a crush on Trixie, and your story about how he would react towards her sharing his fairy odd parents. How did Timmy go from having a crush on her to not wanting to share his fairies with her?

And there’s Trixie‘s mother and canon; Trixie‘s father seems like a decent fellow. We didn’t see a lot of him, but we saw no evidence that he spoiled her or encouraged her negative traits; it looks like Trixie‘s mother is the one responsible for her bad behavior. I hope we get to see more of Trixie‘s father.

Definitely a better version of what season 10 tried to do with Chloe with bringing back Trixie's hidden tomboyish side. Curious if she would've found out about Timmy disguising himself as Timmantha in this scenario since he doesn't have to keep Cosmo and Wanda a secret from her anymore.

Shows how Timmy and Trixie have two kinds of questionable parents with Timmy's being super neglectful and oblivious and Trixie Tang's being controlling and demanding.

Makes me wonder if Vicky has ever babysat for Trixie and the other popular kids. We know that aside from Timmy, she has also babysat Chester and AJ and tormented them (if Channel Chasers, Christmas Everyday, and Micro Phony are any indication), but are the popular kids let off the hook from Vicky's torment.

Gonna theorize one reason Trixie Tang pretty much disappeared after season 7 was that her VA Dionne Quan retired once season 7 finished production.

Does this mean there could be another chapter in this showing potential better ways on how Poof, Foop, and Sparky's concepts could be done better like you did for Chloe's concept here?

The gist of my potential story is this: Timmy would be far more exposed to Trixie's negative traits, and realize that he was objectifying someone from a distance, Trixie would show incredible disdain toward Timmy for doing this, and Timmy would accuse her with of being a spoiled rich girl who is ungrateful despite (ostensibly) getting everything she wants, leading to a fight that leaves them trapped underground.

Basically, it is Timmy realizing that Trixie wouldn't want Trixie as a girlfriend, and deciding that she's better as a friend once they talk their problems out.

As the saying goes, the man is the head of the house, but the woman is the neck, and so the mother would have the final say on child rearing.

That is one element of the story, and I can picture it has a source of tension, since Trixie would accuse Timmy of using fairy magic to stalk her.

Shows how Timmy and Trixie have two kinds of questionable parents with Timmy's being super neglectful and oblivious and Trixie Tang's being controlling and demanding.

Two bad kinds of parenting=one miserable child.

Quite a shame.

Potentially.

The gag of Chester and AJ mistaking a pile of bricks for Timmy just because Timmy's hat was on top of it definitely makes me think of when season 9 does a similar gag in Ton of Timmys where Cosmo thinks any object or person is Timmy whenever it has the pink hat and A Fairy Beginning where Timmy's own dad mistakes a beaver wearing Timmy's hat as his own son. I know you didn't like season 9, but were you thinking of those two episodes when writing that deleted scene?

Considering Vicky can overpower the Dazzlings, makes you wonder how strong she is? Given she was also able to beat up Princess Mandie in another episode, how would Vicky fare in a fight with Applejack, Rainbow Dash, or Gilda?

I was referencing the broader comedic stupidity of Dimmsdale, but I took it out of the main story because I felt it was too over-the-top.

11788625

The Dazzlings, as I've written them, are weaklings without magic due to depending on it for too long.

I think that Vicky can be dangerous when she's wedding weapons, but realistically, she isn't shown to do any sports, and her targets are mainly young kids who can't physically defend themselves, so I picture her as being physically weaker than Applejack, Gilda, and Rainbow Dash.

While Vicky is a bad person whose wickedness was Flanderized, realistically someone like her would not be threatening to someone who was capable of fighting back.

Curious why Cosmo and Wanda bother disguising themselves when Hugh Neutron went into the lab. Seeing how everyone in Jimmy Neutron's world believes they're advanced holograms and the implication that people from other universes can know about fairies just fine since Jorgen never wiped everyone's memories in Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 2: When Worlds Collide, what was their need to do so? Or was it just reflexes due to being used to it in Dimmsdale?

Damn, the first alternate crossover idea shows how Sunset easily could have become as bad as both Vicky and Crocker combined if she found out about fairy magic before her redemption.

Weird seeing Sunset acting as hammy as Vicky and Crocker though, given she never acted particularly hammy when she was a bully in the first movie (aside from when she was a She Demon)?

Did the Fall Formal of the first Equestria Girls movie still happen in the Evil Sunset babysits Timmy idea, with the divergence being Sunset still refused to change after defeat and left Canterlot for Dimmsdale? Or did the movie's events not happen?

11788651
The answer to all your questions is: these were speculative ideas that for various reasons, I didn't pursue because I felt they wouldn't work as stories.

11788641
Pretty good analysis on Vicky's fighting ability so far.

How would Vicky fare against Sunset, Twilight (both the pony and human counterparts), Rarity, Fluttershy, or Pinkie (without any magic powers) in a fight?

We know Fluttershy is pretty timid and Rarity's not inclined for sports so it is up in the air for them. Pinkie does have her weird cartoon physics so maybe she has an advantage. Sunset's own physical skill varies as the Rainbow Dash ending in Stressed in Show shows her getting exhausted when trying to jog with Sci-Twi and Rainbow Dash, but she apparently has enough physical skill to be good in fencing in Queen of Clubs. Pony Twilight has a disadvantage of being from another world and not having as much time to adjust to her human form like Sunset did. Sci-Twi is an introverted nerd, so her own physical skill is up in the air too.

11788671

It depends on how physically fit they are, which can vary from episode to episode.

I can picture Sci-Twi, based on her unpopularity at Crystal Prep, would fold like paper to someone like Vicky.

Sunset easily pushed around Fluttershy, but I think she could be match for Vicky, having regained her support network and some of her confidence.

Sunset can wield a sledgehammer-like bat, so I think she could be a match for Vicky.

Rarity is an unknown since she isn't shown doing anything that sporty.

But anybody with a degree of athleticism, or simply put a spine, would make Vicky fold like paper.

Now this...this is what the creators should have done! Seriously Trixie character had so much more potential than what she was given.

Timmy, whatever you do, don't mention how you wished to become a girl and ended up becoming friends with Trixie.

"Ahh," Timmy yelled as the first runner stomped on him. "Ahh," yelled as he was stomped again. "This safety armor isn't making me safe." Sunset ran toward Timmy to save him from being trampled.

It would've been funnier if he said the armor actually worked.

The boy in the pink hat spoke to himself. "I wish I had a muffin." POOF! A muffin suddenly appeared in the boy's hand.

Gasp, the one wish the wish granting muffin can't grant: a better tasting muffin!

Not gonna lie, I ultimately prefer this ending over the other one. This is so touching and bittersweet.

11788685
In terms of seeing Rarity doing something sporty, she did rollerskate in the second round of Friendship Games and the March Radness comic has her getting first place in ballet. So she may at least be on par with Sunset, Pinkie, and Fluttershy at least.

11791908

Maybe, but I don't picture her as someone who gets her hands dirty as a first choice.

11791909
So, do you think Sunset ever physically injured anyone in Canterlot High back when she was still a mean power hungry bully? Like, we never do see Sunset resorting to physically threatening anyone in the first movie (even outright admitting she wasn't actually going to hurt Spike when holding him hostage and being quick to let him go when Twilight showed up).

I'd say Sunset's tactics rely more on social manipulation rather than physical injuries.

11794470

Maybe...

Remember, this is a kids show, and so violent acts would be toned down for a Y-7 audience.

11788685
So, do you think the likes of Rainbow Dash and Applejack would be able to easily beat up and overpower Sunset in a fight even without magic powers? And if so, do you wonder why neither of them would try to give physical retribution against Sunset when she was a mean bully (after all, it is shown they were aware of how bad she was despite being unaware of her being the one who broke apart the Humane 5's friendship until Twilight arrived)?

11831484
Probably.

My guess is Sunset could cow people with threats she could act on.

You know I actually like this ideal than what their did in cannon as this not only give more depth to Trixie which was not touch in cannon despite the huge potential like the episode where it was reveal she like boys thing and seem to generally like Timmy when he say Hey, I like Kissy Kissy Goo Goo and Skull Squisher!". Trixie look general touch with that and only rejected it because of other people reaction. This can also help turn what was once only a minor character to an important character which long term fans of the show would probably like. It like for example imaging a shows where their is this one character who is an extra and rarely appear in most episodes but is well known and beloved and have potential to be an in depth character but never get a change until suddenly he was giving a change to shine and be more than a background character to a point he become a main character.

You know the show wasted many potential like mrs doombringer who could have easily much potential especially with how she could change the show formula. Maybe she and Crocker could be rivals that would be after Timmy and his fairy’s like she and Crocker would keep fighting with one another with them trying to one up one another. She could also be use to help Crocker step up his gang you know treat her as a rival that will make him keep improving himself turning him more dangerous or he and Timmy would work together and bring her down. What more her unknown backstory could also make her an interesting character. We touch Crocker backstory and why he want to capture fairies but what her story. Did she went through something similar to Crocker. Was it a tragedy or was she always like this. Why does we want to tear the wings of off fairies and did she succeed in the past or encounter them in the past as she seem to be well prepared or was Timmy was her first time encountering a real life fairy.

Their was also the potential story line of Crocker being a godkid for cosmo and Wanda in the past. Like maybe through some unknown means Crocker regain his memory of the time he have cosmo and Wanda.

This were all potential wasted and not touch upon that could make an interesting story
