i do that for my shorter stories(none are on fimfiction), but i like to have the ideas in my head more and just go with whatever i type. I have an end, but the middle is pure unknown. 
1335290Funny, I'm the exact opposite. I have a beginning and I have absolutely no bucking idea where I'm going with it. Just writing it as I go along. And you'd be surprised at how much I can get done in school when I can focus. Today being the exception cuz of that god damn pill my mom made me take. Seriously, it scared me that I couldn't even remember much of school. I remember a few conversations I had with some friends, but other than that, it's almost as if I stayed home and went into a coma. I remember writing about half a page worth of stuff for my new chapter, next thing I know I'm on my couch staring at the ceiling. It fucking scared me.

1409927 Thanks, i just think of things i like and mix them up a little. i'm always thinking up these types of things in my head so when i get a good idea, i remember it for later. I also try to do crossovers that aren't seen all the time (On Fanfiction i wrote the only two DBZ/Inheritance cycle stories there.) so that's another factor. more will come eventually.
I have load off idea but in my head all I see is a cover pic. My mind later works out a story but it all starts as a pic for me

Quick question. I don't know if you answered this or not earlier in the story. But when in the DBZ timeline does this take place? 'Cause I know eventually Vegeta gives up on his rivalry with Kakarot, I mean Goku.

oh well, they're always rivals in my eyes, so it doesn't really matter to me. as long as it stays interesting, i never really minded, the two are more fun to write as rivals then friends.
1430284 if I recall, he never truely gave up the rivalry, he continues it, as a friendly rivalry, like Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna or Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog do. but he stopped this type after the Buu thing. when Vegeta really saw just how strong Goku had become, aka the SSj3
