ThePinkedWonder

Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

E

Doing a get-together on Hearth's Warming Eve with the Mane 6, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and Sunset Shimmer, Eric Reed made an offhand comment about Santa Claus. It brought to his attention that Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and Sunset (and possibly Pinkie Pie) are the only Equestrians who knew who Santa is.

So, Eric told the rest of the Mane 6 about the legend of Santa Claus. But little did he know as he told his story that it gave a couple of ponies ideas...

It's not required to do so to enjoy this story, but if you want to learn how and why the human OC Eric Reed is in Equestria, check out A Giant Adventure to Equestria. Or When Dating a Sunset... to learn where Eric and Sunset became a couple, although the relationship only plays a very minor role in this story.

wonderful story as always ThePinkedWonder.

Keep up the great work, and again Happy birthday, and have yourself a Merry Christmas.

Thanks!

Also, one question, isn't Eric in a relationship with Sunset? And when Rarity gave him a peck on the cheek, wouldn't that like anger or depress her?

He is, and it was Spike, not Eric, whom Rarity gave a peck on the cheek, so that wouldn't cause any anger or anything bad.

Glad you enjoyed the story! Thanks for the happy birthday wishes, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas too!

Knowing pinkie she would do a great job as santa. Her pinkie abilities make the impossible possible.

She likely would indeed. She would always know what ponies in Ponyville would like as gifts from planning parties, so knowing her, she could extend that to all ponies and apply it to Hearthswarming.

I shook my head. “No, and I don’t know why. For most other holidays, we say ‘Happy’ and then whatever the holiday’s name is.”

Meh, Probably because it sounds better. 'Merry' is just another word 'Happy'.

But then again, that's just my opinion

Apparently "Happy Christmas" is said in some places like England, but Eric wasn't aware of it.
