The sex scenes were great. Amazingly detailed in all the ways I wish I could make mine. If I’d had another month to work on my entry, then I might’ve done maybe half as good. Definitely a strong contender for first.

Late contest review. Right out of the gate, one of the best incest fic’s I’ve ever read. The opening scene alone displays sensuality, humor, romance, and a knack for playing the audience’s expectations. You know a story is good when it immediately makes you invested in the characters and their conflicts, and that’s exactly what this did. Speaking personally, I’m still relatively unfamiliar with the Young 6 and other late-season characters, so this did wonders at making me like characters I didn’t know much about to start with. Through almost every scene and sentence, the relationship and dynamic between these characters is absolutely riveting. The sheer amount of effort and thought that actually goes into examining and discussing incest is wonderful. It doesn’t delve into cliches of demonization or taboo for porn’s sake. It always feels like they’re doing their best to work through this situation and how they feel together. The relationships and psychology are top notch, they feel real and believable. The worry, the awkwardness, and a final, simple truth. I’m just gonna say it, it’s outright beautiful. Unfortunately, no story is perfect, and there is still one criticism I must level against this. In fact, the one criticism that knocked this to my 2nd place spot rather than 1st. And that’s the ending. For a story that succeeds so well on a more serious tone and complex relationships, the ending feels jarring and ham-fisted. It’s just a bit of humor and crack shipping slapped on to an otherwise completely different tale. Still, this is easily one of the best fics I’ve seen in any incest contest.

This is an amazing story that I feel is criminally underrepresented. The characters are beautifully rendered, the descriptions are evocative without being effusive - even as they avoid repetition - the conflicts are justified and well-struggled in ways that engage, and the sex is, well, hot. This story has a way presenting itself that strikes all the right buttons for multiple things.
I think the thing that holds it back is that it's erotic fiction on the cover, but a character development piece between the pages. It does both things beautifully, but it's a bit of an odd mix to do them together. I think this is why most other similar stories have the development in a chapter separated from the sex; people can get their plot or their clop without breaking one for the other.
That said, I still don't think I would change a thing about this. The clop results in the plot, which when resolved naturally takes the story back to clop. Trying to alter this would be difficult at best.
So, amazing work, Drop_It_Like_Its_Clop. I really hope this can reach more people.
