no. Just a contest entry. The time constraint means I usually have to jump into a scene that's not at the beginning of the story.
If you ever do more with this story I will be there to read it. Very well done.
Interesting, but you barely touch on the actual stakes involved. Yes, that isn't the true focus of the piece, but the philosophical debate feels disconnected from reality with so little to ground it. On the other hand, I suppose that perfectly captures Flash Point's experience in time travel.

That latter point is an excuse I don't deserve. This is completely narrative-free, purely because I'm not good enough at speedwriting yet and can't develop anything fast enough. This was not a good entry. A scene completely disconnected from both narrative and character development. But it's a jumping off point for future good stories, so... that's what this is all about. Practice.
