Well well.... seems some wild magic is at play....
Other than some spelling errors, like reef should be wreath, and keeping the names that are said the same as the names that are speaking ( far to many to count) it is a good story and it features one of my favorite historical nations, Rome. I shall be awaiting the next chapter with glee.

Author, i strongly suspect that you learned history of Rome from hollywood movies. It is really one of the worst sources of information about roman history, see, how many mistakes found I, just slightly intrested in roman history guy, cannor imagine what will say actual historic.
First of all, decide on the time period of what is happening. The Senate gives you orders, the legate served on the wall of Adrian, built in 128, and it is said that Nero rules(69 year, just before Galba's rebellion and year of four Imperators). This is nonsense, change at least something.
You should also read an article about Upper German limes, but be careful with dates.
I also cannot but note that by the year 69, most of the cavalry were Gallic alas, not equites, and the main unit of auxilariae was cohorts.
also the main unit of the legton is a cohort, often the legions were crushed precisely by them, the entire legion standing was a rather rare sight.
And where did you get the 16 cohort from the legion? There are only ten of them !!!
Therefore, I strongly advise you to read at least one recent book about legions of Rome, for example Dando Collins
