After defeating the Tantabus, Princess Luna is visited in her dreams by a batpony. He claims to be Discord yet acts very different from him. In the waking world, Discord's explanation leaves her shocked.
The Alicorn of the Night is about to get a front row seat to unraveling the mysterious past of Discord. Aided by none other than Discord's Masks, the mindsets and personalities from his past. However, what she and others find are more than just answers:

Great phrase, that. Of course old languages also had a lot of euphemisms like that, but often we are not privvy to them as only important things were written down. We do get some glimpses, though. Catullus 16 comes to mind.

Vespertilio is the latin word for bat. While I and Luna are aware of Vesper meaning Evening, I figured she wouldn't miss that Vesper could be short for Vespertilio, which is a bit on the nose for Batcord. Than again, so is Evening Pleasure, as you pointed out. XP
