Tirek does not get Discord's magic. Unexpectedly, neither does Discord. Instead, it heads off to a new host, one currently lacking her usual magic and in dire need of some. Why her? Who knows! Discord doesn't, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like what he sees.
Celestia is now Equestria's local reality warping creature of Chaos. And she's rather good at it. Thankfully, she's still the Celestia they all know and love. So, as long as her friends and family give her a little nudge whenever she gets a little too crazy, things should work out fine. Right?

This reminds me of the fic I put out a couple of weeks back which had Celestia being recommended to take Discord's job and vice versa. Really glad to see someone tackle the concept. Whether or not I had anything to do with giving you the idea. You've done well.
This is a similar prospect to a story I've been working on the past two years, it's about Discord retaining his power when Tirek draining it breaks a restraint on it, unleashing it's true power. But the real similarity is to my idea for second alternate chapter, where Pinkie gets it and hilarious combat ensue.
This sounds like such an interesting and funny setup! Can't wait to see how this plays out.
