Aye........Moonbutt is quite excitable with the pistol...
No rifle tests? That's underperforming a bit
I am never agreeing to be shot again.
side note every one who is trained to ware Kevlar the first time they are shot they have to do it to their selves.
KEVLAR is a fabric, not a ceramic.
The plates generally used in Level IV (military-grade) ballistic vests are generally made of alumina, chemically referred to as Al2O3; whereas KEVLAR is made of poly-p-Phenylene-terephthalate and polybenzamide, of course it's not as simple as that, but KEVLAR isn't really a ceramic.
Military-grade vests use the ceramic or alumina plates to cover the larger areas, supplemented by KEVLAR where more range of motion and flexibility is needed.
If I'm wrong about any of that, someone please mention it, as I'm currently working on a research paper regarding bulletproof materials. (Which is how I got the information in the first place and wanted to point it out.)
On a less criticising note, great story! Loving it so far, and though I could do without the sex (which I skip over), I'm interested in seeing our protagonist actually get into a real relationship.
Well shit.
Just read a bit more into the story and realized that not even two sentences after he made the distinction between the KEVLAR and the metal/ceramic plates.
Damnit, me; jumping on something wrong and criticising something before reading the rest of the context.
Anyway, if you just change the sentence I mentioned earlier to say "ceramic and Kevlar" or just say KEVLAR, I'd be happy.
7975164 You have no idea, how much it hurts to get shot while wearing Kevlar. I got a two crack ribs from get shot with a 5.56. In my opinion, I prefer using AR500 steal plating armor, although it hurts, it didn't gave me a crack rib!
I don't think any soldier did
XD Me neither!
You should see this guy.
