On the contrary, BDSM is all about keeping control, for both doms and subs. The foundation of BDSM is consent. Each person has the right to lay out what they do and don't want, and for those desires to be respected without overstepping boundaries. It's a controlled environment to explore bondage, fantasies, etc.. Without consent, it is rape.
